Just watching the highlights on sky snf and have to say the football we are playing is a joy to watch the true meaning of the beautiful game. If we can keep this up and strengthen when needed the title is ours within three years! IRWT COYB

1.) Agree. I saw our closing down is so tough. Bobby has already lifted our game. I can say 3 years may too long if we get the right choice from transfer market or our academy.

2.) Unfortunately when permanently richer teams see our threat they will try to poach our best players or manager - they don't like anyone rocking the boat these days

hi ed its been a while but just a quick observation on the loan debate, they keep using the lukaku / chelsea argument, does it not register with these clowns that we beat chelsea at home and out played them at the bridge only loosing in the final minutes to a dodgy goal. delafaou can play against anybody, and city have still to come to goodison. so does this not defeat the argument. oh and neither chelsea nor city have put six past us on their turf so nads to you wenger!. grbefc

welcome to everton roberto a great manager at the best club in the world onwards and upwards from here on. a lot has been made of the relegation of wigan last year well wasn't hawwy wedknap relegated, twice if memory serves, that didn't stop him getting spuds into CL and for all those who wanted VP (me included!) remember juande ramos! time to get behind RM and help push the team on after all we are the most important part of this club.

ed have you heard from mushy yet or has he thrown himself into the mersey!! {Ed025's Note - i wish.. :)

While RM is not my 1st choice I will welcome him in to our great club if he is confirmed as our manager however DW may have been a bit premature with his statement according to the everton website I will continue to wait for confirmation I_WT coyb

Hi guys I know I am likley to be shot down and abused here but I think were going a bit over the top on this badge business now while i'm not overly keen on the new badge it still says everton on it I know it does not carry nil satis nisi optimum but its not the first in our history to do that now I understand we do not like change I mean who liked the new shirts last year? Not many but we still got behind the lads wearing it and I think it grew on most over the season and I hope given time the new badge will do the same after all its not like they have done a cardiff on us is it? {Ed025's Note - for me grb, NSNO is paramount to this club, its like the reds dropping YNWA, its part of our history mate, for me it says everything..nothing but the best!, or are they trying to tell us something?..

grbefc

1.) I'd sooner keep the motto on the crest. We don't need the name of the club emblazoned across it. Everybody knows we are Everton without having to state the obvious on the crest. BlueTone

Martinez has been given 24 hours to decide if he is staying with wigan or not, if he stays he won't be talking to bill anytime

We are seven days into the transfer window with fifty four days to go a bit early to have the noose around your neck don't you think? roberto is still in brazil and as I understand it he and not a director of football is in charge of transfers so no business will be done until after the world cup. yes our neighbours are spending copious amounts of money but as no one gives a cack what brenda says he's at home to do business. so don't panic just yet things ain't how they used to be, bobby lad will do us proud keep the faith. coyb

The winners this year get a CL place next year so its worth going for also the last couple of times we were in it we didn't have a bad season because of it if memory serves. grbefc

'knowing how BK works he will hang on to him until its to late' what like he did with walter smith? oh hang on he sacked him and got DM in to save us from years relegation battles any appointment will be a risk we have to get behind the new man whoever that may be and as someone posted earlier jurgen klopp was relegated before he went to dortmund and that was a failure wasn't it? and just for the record 1st choice VP 2nd choice RM for me
