Hi all, my first post here. I as like everyone else want Stones to stay, but the reality is that if chelski treble his wages surely he will be gone? I think most of us would do the same. I think Chelski are poor in terms of getting the likes of Cahill to speak out. I am 100% behind Bobby but I need to see some fresh blood. The likes of Ossie, are surely past there best and can pinnear really stay fit of the whole season? Mcgeady needs to go. Please Bill, I know you have not been well but put these issues at the very top of your agenda!! I feel we have a fantastic first 11 but need to add a little depth and competition.

Thanks all I love logging on and reading all the passion!!

{Ed025's Note - welcome aboard sean, your right about us needing some new blood, but that new blood needs to have a bit of quality mate, adding to the numbers just wont cut it for me..

Thnks Ed, agree with you totally. There seems to be a real lack of quality about at the moment that's available. Maybe as the window goes on better will come our way. Let's hope so!!

I know a lot of posters are worried about all the best players being signed early on in the transfer window, leaving us with our pick of just the one footed, half arsed, attitude problem rejects or the 'who the hell is he?'s', but when most big clubs sign a new player, someone of decent quality gets pushed further down the pecking order. Sergei Roberto is a good example, as he is apparently a lot like Iniesta, but the main thing keeping him out of a regular place in the Barcelona squad is, well, Iniesta! Great player, but currently 4th choice. My point is, who knows who will find themselves surplus to requirements as their clubs bring in new players in the next four weeks. And welcome to the site, Toffeesean! Help yourself to a nice mug of Everton whine, from Bobby's vineyard and a big helping of grumble pie!
