Just seen Leighton Baines leaving estate agents in formby maybe putting his house up for sale

1.) Why would he need to put his house up for sale? Manchester is really far!

2.) I saw him as well. Shortly after a pig flew over my head!

3.) I imagine if you were sell in 2m pound house the estate agent would be coming to you, not chatting in the shop.

4.) Or maybe he's seeing what's available with the funds from his new deal BK is offering. ? (Fingers crossed!)

5.) Why would he move even if he was going to Man Utd? It is hardly Liverpool to London. In addition to how settle he always says he is in the area and how much family means to him.

6.) He wouldn't move, that's why Manchester United are the only team he would move to from us.

If you saw which paper was reporting it you would know why we are skeptical about it.

Ok Ed there's no hate campaign I agree. But you have to admit they love trying to sell our players. So far they have been wrong on all of them stories since Martinez took over. No doubt they comment on all clubs but Everton is definitely one of the teams they love to put down and say our players are off to a 'bigger' club.

The reason it's us is because of the simple combination of no champions league football but champions league level players. So therefore the papers run stories that put our players at champion league teams. This won't change ever until we are perennial champion league participants.

As annoying as it is we may as well accept it.

That's a funny analogy Toffee ace. So the teams that get into the champions league, they have champions league players? Correct? So how could our players be champions league players then? There is only 4 places for it. Obviously the players that get in are the champions league players and the ones that don't are not.

On the other hand, say your correct and we have champions league players. Is that not how we would get into it. Need top players to compete to get in, don't we?

I know what saying. Comes back to my point earlier. The papers want to move our players to 'bigger' clubs.

NBTB. I think you have my point. Basically the minute we have a player that the press deem good enough to play in the CL they'll move them on to a club that regularly plays there. This won't stop until we are one of those teams. We must accept this as its not going to change.

Could this no transfer activity have anything to do with bobby waiting to see what shop he's going to. He is probably thinking why waist what money we have right now on other teams cast offs or see if anyone makes a silly offer for stones which we cannot turn down and go shopping properly

If you run a business and have enough evidence to show revenue banks give you cash. If we were getting 30+ for Stones then we could buy already see Liverpool with Firmio. We are not selling. I reckon we have 20 mill which with wages equates to a 8 mill signing on a 4 year deal and a loan signing with emergencies left for Jan. I hope he goes striker with the cash as Galloway and Browning seem ok to me and the loan is a attacking mid.
Eds I have posted on here for a few years and followed every day. Never seen so much negativity towards the club. Do you think this site is an accurate reflection or just a platform for the minority angry blues?
