Ok, Manchester United have tested the water with a ridiculous bid of £12m, it's not BK's fault, he has done all he can and said that he isn't for sale. What more can he do? I want Baines to stay the same as everyone else but if the figure reaches the £25m mark I would consider it. Baines is class and will be hard to replace but our main problem last season was lack of depth in the squad and tiredness, something £25m could ease. For me if the money is guaranteed to be given to the manager then it has to be considered. If he did go then I reckon the replacement should be Luke shaw. Baines type player and only going to get better.
1.) First thing we're not going to get anywhere near £25m for Baines will be luck to get £15m at the most, and second thing forget about Luke Shaw as Saints are an ambitious club and won't sell for anything we can afford.
2.) Unfortunately luke shaw seems to have his heart set on chelsea, but he is in our price range if baines goes, it was 10-12 million they were talking about in january wasnt it?
