Spurs fan here.
Fair play, you put in a good performance, however, in my opinion, you didn't deserve to win (I'm not saying we did). You played better all round football than us yesterday by far, but lacked any cutting edge. (Mirallas opportunity, was probably the best if he would've played Naismith in). But for all that better football, you had one more opportunity on target.
We had 1 clear cut opportunity, and it was taken, and that's what the game come down to. We played badly, but managed to take all 3 points.
I think Clattenburg had an all round bad game, (personally I think he's about as useful as a chocolate fire blanket), few decisions went both ways that at the time none of us were happy with.
I like Everton, I like how the club runs, and I especially like RM. I think if anyone can take you places, it's him. But I see a fair few of you who dislike him, and I don't really understand why?
1.) Nice one.
2.) Always easier to write something like this after winning, just patronising really
3.) Dislike Martinez? What are you droning on about? Save the pity speech mate, I saw one team play something remotely close to decent football. Your lightyears away from being a team that warrants it's ridiculous price tag and you will not finish in the champions league. And when you sack your manager because of it we will be standing by ours. Strange that considering how much we dislike him right
I'm a spurs fan but I don't have any issues with the way Everton go about there squad. The rules are there for a reason, you may as well utilise them. Every year people say 'they'll be stuffed when there loan signings go back' but you still manage to keep consistent and improve. Fair play to ya
I'm a spurs fan, but I wouldn't say Walker is better than Coleman, Walker has been poor for the last year or so. His form 2 seasons ago, showed real promise and looked like he would of become a world class right back. But seems to have declined ever since and has become somewhat of a liability at times.
I feel we have overtaken you with quality, some may disagree, but the table hasn't lied the last few seasons, but as for who the 'bigger' club is I won't comment as I don't know enough about your history {Ed025's Note - its enough to make your heart go whooooah :) thanks for your comments mate..
