According to rumours emerging today, Clint Dempsey has flew out to the US to 'talk to Everton'
Wouldn't mind seeing him at Everton for a season or two, great squad player and great work ethic. However, I can't help but think he's just off home for the week.
Thoughts?
1.) I think he's just off home for the week
2.) We've been linked with him in the past. Strong, hard working player who scores important goals. He'd have fitted right in with our previous manager's style of play but not so sure with the new system. Worth a go if the price is right.

We all have to accept the fact that Fellaini is most probably going to the theatre of wet dreams to be reuinited with Gollums twin.
However I think Baines will be staying!
With the result against Liverpool today I think we could push for 25m for Felli now.
If we say we already have 5 mil to spend, with the 28mil (20% of any profit made on Fellaini goes to Liege) i'd bring in.

Increased speculation that Moyes is turning his attention to Fellaini after losing out on Fabregas.
I feel that regardless of when his release clause runs out, we should still be pushing for atleast £23m.
Think about it. If Bale is worth £100m, I think Fellaini is easily worth £35m when comparing the players, and that's just a minimum!
After watching the game last night, I could also tell that Felli doesn't want to be playing for us no more, he looked lazy and had no drive. Plus, I really think with the money we could get for him ( keeping hold of Bainsey too) we could get 2/3 quality, young players which will complete our squad.
Maybe Alderwield, Maronne and another?

2.) I'm with you on this ed, I thought united made a good move when they signed him, I've rated him since his early Porto days.
I don't think he's been given a proper go at united, but I think with some consistent game time, a bit of confidence and some slim fast he could be a very good prem player, I think he can do a little bit of everything
