Aslong as we can get mirallas gibson hibbo and coleman back soon and from what i have heard mirallas will be back in the next two weeks then we should be fine although i would like to have ofoe in as back up

Think we should go for Ofoe as desperately need cover for Gibson as he seems injury prone and getting Ofoe would allow gibbo time to recover long term, Also think Mirrallas has a long term injury and won't be back for awhile, don't want what happened to Owen to happen to him so hope we get Ben yedder in, what you think edd?

The Ben Yedder rumour is NOT true, the rumour was started by a fake account on twitter and I've been told by a french source that it's not true.

One of the funniest things to happen this season was that clown signing a 8 year contract. Dreadful, smug manager who has achieved bugger all in the game, yet thinks he is as good as Mourinho.
Mike {Ed013's Note - Is that you Mike Ashley!}
Agree0

A friend if mine told me Pardew and Ashley are big gamblers and Pardew owed a chunk of money. Ashley gave him a long contract but with no termination fees as a way to clear his debt. Give it a few more games and Pardew will get the sack and no compensation

I don't think we will sign anyone until the end of the window. We have no money available now and will have to wait for the last minute when clubs are desperately trying to shift players out in order to buy. That's where we can get a few loan signings. So long as we keep everyone, add 1 maybe 2 loans where DM sees fit, we should be able to kick on... With TV money doubling next year, surely that will mean money to spend in the summer.

I would like a repeat of last January's transfer window, it turned the club round as we were boosted by fresh faces, two new loan players would be fine this time I reckon

Would love to be kept informed about transfers more but we need to keep cards close to chests due to other clues robbin are targets plus moyes will have a list of about 20 poss targets of which only 2 will come on a loan to buy deal which I think is the best option as we get to see wot they are like before we commit just imagine if we had ended up with drethe loan was the best option same with strac tired hard but was't for us just wish we had done more loans to buy options if we had loaned van der meyde

i would like to see oviedo, vellios, duffy & barkley in the starting xi for cheltenham, personally i think oviedo looks very good, ross needs game time, i would like to see us with vic & vellios starting together up front, allowing us to rest jeli, jags & baines...., however i am sure dm has his own opinions and whatever the team we should be backing every player, but please, please dm....not jan mucha

To win the fa cup would be great but I really think a CL spot should be a priority for us, this is our best chance in years. To that end I wouldn't be surprised if Moyes chooses to rest a few players on Monday, especially after the festive period. There was an interview with Distin on local radio earlier in which he said it doesn't matter if you're 35 or 20, playing so many games in a short period of time really takes it out of you.

This may be a long shot but what about Scott Parker either on loan or buy? He's gonna struggle to get in the Spurs squad with the Dembele and Sandra playing so well and for me he's a grafter and has an eye for a pass. What does anyone else think?

Been hearing this question quite a bit now, would you rather win a cup or finish in the Champions League places this season?
Believable2
Unbelievable0
Although silverware is always nice, Champions League has to be my choice, because CL equates to 15-20mil, opens a new market of players and thus helps us compete for silverware like the FA Cup.
Of course, don't see why we cant do both :)
Agree0

Love the FA Cup - brought up on being glued to the telly all day for the final - but these days the Champions League group stages are where the money, that we need without other external investment, is to be earned.

people need to calm down with these rumours, if it aint posted on a website or on the website, it aint true, if you cant give the facts then whats the point, moyes has said theres lil money to get anyone so it will be loan signings, swear half of you guys sound like the papers filling in blanks cause they have nothing to say, nani wont go to everton cause we cant afford him only way that would happen is if baines and the hair leave and thats not guna happen, all u will see is players getting there contracts extended, if moyes is going to get someone he keeps in on the low so the likes of fulham, newcastle, stoke, and west brom dont come in for the loan or buy.... {Ed021's Note - this is a rumours website, the whole point of posting is because you have heard a rumour
Believable2

Do people really think that these other clubs only get to know about players after Everton's interest becomes known? Of course DM tries to keep his cards close to his chest, but the idea that other clubs aren't also scouting around the world and therefore aware of talented players is preposterous IMHO. Bringing a player into a club is a very involved process and bits of info (gossip and rumours) will always come out - sometimes deliberately (by agents, etc.), sometimes unintentionally (by players talking to friends and family), and sometimes by people putting 2 and 2 together and not (for once!) getting 5. If BK and DM can get a deal done that's great, if not move on. Once a blue, always a blue.

Why is everyone getting so frustrated we haven't signed anyone? It's the 5th of January, we have 26 days left to sign someone. You have to show patience in Moyes, look at last year we signed jelavic and pienaar on the last day... Things aren't as easy as ringing and agent up and that's that. There is alot involved in buying and loaning players...................

BK is working on a biggie...Moutinho? as we appeared, although we will never know, to let Holtby go without too much effort..
Or will it b 2 loans on the 31st Jan..

If spurs don't get CL spot how can they afford to pay the high wages for the likes of hotlby they are taking a gamble. With all the talk of the extra cash available in the summer from tv money isn't it just going to inflate transfer fees maybe it would be better to buy now rather than wait for prices to increase or are clubs realising it now and asking to much for players.

Just read an article about TV money and views.
Everton attract a wider audience on a website Live games than every team apart from Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City putting us as the 6th most watched team in the Premiership world wide yet despite this we are 9th in a table of how many times we have been on Sky this season. Newcastle, West Ham, Tottenham all have been on sky 10 times this season. We have been choosen for a website 6 times.
With the club receiving 500,000 each time we are on sky we are missing out on money that the club could desperately do with especially with the new annual accounts showing a 9 million loss.
The top 10 for live games so far this season are
1 United 13
2 City 13
3 Liverpool 12
4 Chelsea 11
5 Arsenal 11
6 Tottenham 10
7 Newcastle 10
8 West Ham 10
9 Everton 6
10 Swansea 5
This is ridiculous considering, according to figures we are the 6th most watched team from England when we are showed on a website and with the football we have played in 2012 how can the people who decide who is shown live on sky give us 6 games and the likes of West Ham and Newcastle 10? If we would of had 10 games this season that's a extra 2 million pound toward this 9 million loss.
I just don't understand the concept, really annoyed!
