Just heard the worst rumour yet the guardian an the mirror reportin kenwyne Jones for £3mil hope not

It says we are bidding £1m though - for that price as a squad player its not that bad. he's better than anichebe was! obviously though would be disappointed if its just him as we will need a top striker to replace lukaku

It's not going to happen, however, if it did would you honestly think it wasn't that bad swapping him for Jelavic? BIG step backwards imo and smacks of our dealings and desperation 5 years ago

Batshuayi's contract is thought to contain a clause that would allow the player to leave if a team bids £7m for him, but Standard want all the money in one go, whereas Everton were hoping to pay the fee in a series of instalments.

However, the 5ft 11in striker could force the Belgian league leaders' hand, as he is thought to favour a move straight away and talks have already taken place between his representatives and the Merseyside club.

i don't know anythink about this kids but if he is as good as they say 7m should not be a problem, he will surly treble this price if he is a hit

anybody else wondered whether a cheeky bid for Benteke might be worth while as he's out of form at villa and doesn't really look happy? say £10m plus Jela and Johnny?

the fact you said we should buy an out of form player has already diminished and credibility that post had, jela is off to hull or west ham, villa do not need to sell and he is their only fit striker

I heard a rumour today that it is johnny plus cash.?.jelavic is suppost to be happy moving to hull.

It would take a lot more than that to get Benteke. He would be an ideal replacement for Lukaku but I assume he is destined for Europe. Lewandowski's replacement at Dortmund is my prediction.

I've seen rumours that he is Brenda Rodgers number one target in this window! I think it said they were after a loan with view to buy!

Everton squad jetted off too a Tenerife training camp yesterday to get some warm weather training in before the west brom match, there back on Thursday. Hopefully it will do the lads good to have some warm sun on there backs at this stage of the season.

Dont think much training will be done, its all about the band of brothers bonding letting there hair down. come back raring to go. just hope they stay away from mopeds lol

I agree, more of a bonding trip with some light training thrown in.

So the eds beat Stoke with 2 gifted goals and a penalty that should never have been. To listen to them again suggests they've already won the League. And what about Skrtel? Blatant shirt pulling/holding throughout the game and yet goes unpunished as it has all season.
Does anyone know who the ref is for the derby yet? I simply hope it's someone who will stand their ground seeing them for what they are: winging moaners when they lose and deluded fantasists when they win.

Why would the ref care what the fans think about their team? Is this you starting to make excuses already even when it's 2 weeks away before you get beat?

Just thinking there about Mcgeady, I was not over the moon about his signing but i'm starting to look at it a different way.He has not really played in good teams before but now he is going to be playing with top quality players week in week out so maybe this could be a really smart signing by Bobby coyb.
