According to EFC website RM won't be rushing back Jags into the team because (wait for this) Stones has been outstanding as his replacement.
Now (and no apologies for ripping off the classic line from 'Die Hard')
'Outstanding replacement? Is this a member of the shambles of a defensive display that now, not once, but twice (Derby) has just been Bu*t F**cked on National TV?
Sorry guys I have not posted this week but am totally raging over that one.
WW3 broke out over Wigan home defeat last year but this year? Oh well we are making progress and are playing lovely football, both wrong we are as we were this time last season.
Fair enough, guess I got to get used to that but please EFC don't come out with cr*p like that, it's insulting to people who remember when this club had standards of expectations much higher than our present younger supporters can envisage.
To the younger supporters who travel and spend their hard earned cash, can I as an older Blue thank you for keeping the faith.
Got to bed mushy you will feel much better in the morning.
Took your advice Mike but I don't!
Same old.
I'm ok about it Mushy, because we have adapted our game to go with the times. Whilst I agree poor Stones has been exposed in those two games by world class opposition remember he is learning and will improve. A defeat away to Arsenal is not a defeat at home to Wigan. We know that on any given day we can turn over these top 6 sides. But we shouldn't be naive to think that they can't turn us over either. It's a work in progress, I'm surprised you can't see that and it's so doom and gloom for you. I felt much gloomier last season. But obv you speak with much more experience than me so I respect your opinion mate
Oli just in the depths of depression with EFC at mo!
At Xmas I really thought we had a chance of 'something'. To cap it all, you watch we'll play out of our skin to beat the Arse and City at home and help that lot across the park to a Champions League spot again!
Mushy let it go. We've the chance to prove ourselves in the next 2 games against the Welsh at home. We're better than both and should secure 6 points.
Utd and Spurs have got tough games coming up and we've got games in hand against both. In the run at Easter we could (and should) be looking at a 5th or at least 6th place in the League. Let's have some faith. Jags is due back and Moyes has still got to face us at Goodison.
