Hi ed002 you have mentioned on a number of occasions that Mr Moshiri has taken advice from a third party which has limited Brands input. Could you possibly clarify which signings Brands is responsible for and which where recommended by Moshiris advisors.

{Ed002's Note - Actually two third parties have pretty much been running the game for a couple of years - but not now. I don't want to open up to attributing blame.}

So is brands finally been given the chance to do what he was hired to do?

{Ed025's Note - lets hpoe so jcl..

Thanks ed, I understand you don't want to point the finger, just I've seen and heard a lot of criticism towards Brands which I think is unfair considering his hands have been tied.

{Ed002's Note - MB has rather been stuck due to advisors getting their way.}

Well he has an opportunity to shine. With the team performing so badly and limited spending let's see him pull it out the bag - I've got a feeling he will deliver.

Why would Moshri spend Big money on Managers over the past, Brands was not cheap and now Ancelloti and still have advisors who seem to have more power within our club and yet we have no idea who they are, Moshri is a smart business man but last 4 years would suggest otherwise.

I hope so Jcl. Like most I would love 4 or 5 quality signings but honestly think a class ball winner in midfield would make all the difference and free up the likes of Gomes to play their natural game.

I agree Trueblue, it just doesn't add up. Its pretty clear what Brands' philosophy is for building a team, why bother bringing him in if your just going to undermine him? Moshiri and his advisers have got our club in a right mess an now expect Brands to clean it up. Barring a miracle this season I suspect we'll be looking for a new DOF when his contract expires.

Agree carlo, gomez is definitely stifled by the lack of quality in the rest of midfield.

I guess it goes to show how hard running a club is. The owner of that rubbish across the park invests his money, but sits back and let's the right people do their job. But, it took time for them to get it right.

The Premier League Champions are rubbish 😂😂😂 What does that make Everton mediocre, down right awful, pathetic etc etc? #bitter.

Didn't one advisor move? (Moshris neighbour) .

{Ed002's Note - They are not involved at this time - but he has not moved home.}

Jcl,
Gomes is stifled through lack of pace.

Verigo, one of the eds would have edited his word to 'rubbish' so I'm guessing they used the word that comes after 'red an white . ' or 'blue and white . '

Just out of interest sake Ed, why are they no longer involved?
Has Moshiri realised the error of his ways? Has brands or Ancelotti given an ultimatum? or have the advisors found a better way if making more money elsewhere?

{Ed002's Note - Brands would have forced the situation.}

Fancy, each to their own. has no pace but his first season on loan with us i thought he was class. indeed he played well before injury last season. but when playing with tom davies and sigurdson (who in my opinion offer very little) its going to make your job harder. Put some quality in along side him and i think you see a different player. He can pass, he cam tackle he can take a man on (at least that's what I've sewn from my seat) - i rate him.
