I posted last week that I thought we needed to get the Koeman sort soon as he was due to go on holiday but it was pointed out he had just come back from a holiday so I assumed I was reading an old article but it appears I was right koeman has jetted off on another Holiday today so any unveiling will have to wait until he returns not sure how long his holiday is for but it seems a strange time to be going on holiday when your about to sign for a new club I'm sure with 6 mil a year he could afford to re-arrange his flights also how is he supposed to convince Lukaku and stones to stay before the euros start if he's on a beach somewhere. find it a bit baffling.

It's old news now. Let him go on vacation/ holiday and come back refreshed. Moshiri can now focus on recruiting Monchi.

He's not exactly winning hearts and minds if he is back on holiday

how is it old news he jetted off today! and Blue247 I get what you are saying about family commitment but he's in a position to delay a holiday for a couple of days to sort out the next 4-5 years of his working life especially as he only came back off an extended carribean holiday last week. just doesn't look very professional to me to be making you prospective new employers sitting on their hands and not very fair to Southampton either who can't recruit a replacement until he's gone.

Did he come back from previous holiday early because of the move and is just completing the holiday now everything is sorted? I don't know.

If he was at Southampton he probably would be taking this holiday and already had it planned. All the players are concentrating on euro's anyway for this Friday. Not sure he would have much access to them anyway.

I have no doubt he will give his all and is fully committed. He would not of been hedge hunted otherwise.

I assume he only needed to be there for the preliminary negotiations/ interview and the paperwork will be done by his agent. Still expect an announcement within 24 hours lads, don't get your heads down its all nearly over 😅.

To be honest he can do that much this week anyway all players away for a small football tournament euro 16, as long as it's announced he can be on his holiday .
I think a lot of people expect him to sign players as soon as he gets the job there will be a lot of speculation but no deals will be done during the euros.

He cut short his Caribbean 'well earned break' to make sure that he had a job at Everton and we had a manager to talk about . . . which we are btw!

Put your feet up and enjoy it's all good :)

Why are some posters criticising Ronald Koeman going on holiday?
I trust the people at the club (Mr Moshiri, etc. ) to be doing things properly and have no doubt RK's agent is the principal negotiator on RK's behalf and can therefore handle matters in RK's holiday absence.
Besides, RK (and his family) are surely entitled to a holiday break and we can expect RK to come back refreshed for the pre-season. which must be a good thing for us.
I fear that the modern malaise of instant gratification and expecting events to magically take place at the press of a button are making us forget that it takes a huge amount of time and effort to get these sort of transactions completed.
Anyone who thinks football contracts, etc., are easy - like buying a pint of milk from the corner shop - is ill-informed at best and sadly naive at worst in my humble opinion.
Whinge over ;-)
Just enjoy the craic and let the club bring this deal to fruition.

Wasn't critisizing him for going on holiday sid just his timing he could have got his transfer ( which is what it is ) sorted then had 4 weeks while the euro's were on to lay on the beach as for football contracts on the contrary I think they are incredibly complicated which is why all parties involved should be giving them their full attention.

{Ed025's Note - i heard he had got a cheap flight on wizz air to latvia AL and swapping flights would cost an extra £35.. :)

Ed025: The airplane banner (BK time to go) arranged by some 'fans' at our away match at Southmpton obviously caught RK's eye and he probably wanted a discount flight for his holiday from them. Apparentl they declined to help, as he hadn't signed yet - what a bunch of cheap Fokkers ;-)

{Ed025's Note - love that sid..
