gray is our only player where it always looks like something might happen. Gordon goes missing a lot and he's been very ineffective in the home games so i'd stick with the 11 that bear the saints.

Definitely choose Gordon. Gordon never goes 'missing'. He always tracks back, tackles and fights so we shouldn't confuse not having a distinctive attacking impact with going missing. He had a lackluster match in his last start, it happens.

I know McNeil did well in the last match but I would be tempted to drop him put in Gordon and keep Maupay in even if DCL is fit
Then during the second half I would look to introduce DCL and McNeil as a double substitution, feed in bf DCL is what McNeil is here for
We will have to see what FL goes for.

“Gordon has good pace”, Gray is faster than him and beats his man easier than Gordon? Problem with Gray is he loses the ball too much. Problem with Gordon is he’ll often have zero impact in matches, despite his work rate.

Keep a winning team.

I think Coady and Tarkowski’s lack of pace will be a real concern against Rashford, but I wouldn’t drop them for Holgate just because he’s a bit quicker.

Lack of pace from Tarkowski and Coady is made up by their footballing brain. Quality defenders are like chess players. Always 2 moves ahead of the opponent. Hoping for a win and we seem to play well against man utd now. 2-1 I'm going for. Maupay and Gray to score ??.

Agree there Smit, and it’s not like for like options, we can mix up with different formations and the right personnel in the positions
