Not a rumour just a discussion point.

now that wigan are out, I would think that it would be sensible to go for three of their players as they will fit straight into the squad, they know how the boss plays, they live local and they are settled, my choice would be three players, Mcmanaman, Maloney and Mcarthur.

I would like to see a back up keeper like ruddy or a elder statesman whos maybe on a free like paul robinson of blackburn or jussi jasskeleinen, then send joel robles on loan to spain.

try and get scott dann from palace or lescot on a free.

mohammed diame, valencia and nzogbia all ex martinesz players all would boost our squad and all experienced in the premier league and wouldn't need to have a settling in period.

1.) Ruddy as a number 2 (which he wouldn't want) and maybe Diame. The rest of them I wouldn't be at all interested in. I don't see how any of them would be better than what we already have nor would improve the squad?

scott dann is a kopite and is crap, mccarthur? really? championship at best, maloney is decent but old and injury prone, mcmanaman is woeful, at best, no tar

i do ed but everyone on here wants us to buy absolute crap, we took wigans striker, centre back, ex keeper and best player, why take what we don't need, where would mccarthur play? mcmanaman is crap and you know it, maloney I like but he has problems, like me, the op speaks about players who know his play style, let's get di santo, gomez, caldwell, hell the whole club, let's knick the kitman while we are at it

4.) Swan is usually very negative, but this is the most positive I've seen him! One of the worst suggestions for transfers I have ever seen. Ones that would make me estatic to see Cleverley Bendter and the local bin men coming in! Hope this isn't Roberto in disguise.
