Knowing are luck felli and vic will go and we will only get mccarthy in.sky said before that martinez and erlstone are in the main room at finch farm.just hope nothing goes t*** up.

I don't see lukaku leaving chelsea if arsenal are after ba unless chelsea have got another striker lined up then could let both go.

Ed you say you get info off someone inside the club.what part is this person in the club? Player, former player, steward, boardroom, media, club shop, groundsman or his staff.
Have you heard anymore off this person on transfers? and how certain is he/she we will have few more in before transfer window is shut {Ed025's Note - lets just say an employee, who says there will be additions made..

At the end of the day if felli contract says their is a release clause for a certain amount (23.5mill) then he will be sold for that fee unless higher bidders come in for him. so all this talk/papertalk of player plus cash or cash below the release fee is all bull****. if everton sold felli for less am sure there will be uproar amongst our fans against the board.
And by the looks of things felli seems to be 2nd best behind fabregas for united, if I was felli I'd turn round and say do one.
If felli and baines really wanted to go they would of handed in a transfer request by now.

Nobody is going to be bidding higher than his release clause. Why would they when they can get him for the amount stipulated in his clause?
2.) They could bid a penny over the release clause and hope the player attempts to sue his current club so he can be released from his contract. It all seems a bit far fetched but also strangely familiar.
3.) To the first comment: Otherteams may not have been able to bid for him at the time his release clause was active, or had othefr targets. For example, Moyes wanted Cesc, seems to have no hope of signing hm and so will turn his attentions to fellaini. If one goes I doubt the other will go.
4.) Yes I understand what a release clause is, in principle, though obviously not the ins and outs of the details, and in Fellaini's case it allegedly has an expiry date. Therefore it's eminently possible for someone to bid higher than the clause's value AFTER it has expired. By the same token it's also possible to bid lower and Everton accepting if they're desperate to sell him. But whilst the clause is in effect nobody will bid higher than the stipulated fee.
5.) Fellaini release clause has expired since the 31st of last month. So the ball is firmly in our court we now get to name our price. Would take any thing above 25m, as don't think he suits Matinez still of Football.

Do we think defoe would be a martinez type player? And do we really see everton moving for him?.Am looking forward for tomorrow hope EFC are busy and fingers crossed felli and baines stay but if we are to lose one I'd rather see felli go then baines.

I've said it before we need 4 more players in I know its not easy to bring in 4 players in with limited budget but we defo need a striker(defoe, ba, torres, lukaku, adebayor) could be looking for a move.we also need 2 more midfielders attacking+holding and maybe 1 more defender
Bit of good news we are still unbeaten and 2 clean sheets, keep the faith and together as a club we will get are 1st win v chelsea and we will kick on from there.

Was at the game tonight and was very very poor I actually thought players would play well having there chance in starting 11 oviedo, kone, naismith all bad I like osman but even he was bad tonight.we need not 1 player in but we need at least 4.on another note not a bad turn outt 22730 fans for the game.credit to stevenage they played very well and made us look crap at times.but hey chin up move on to a tuff match on saturday v cardiff

I'd have either bent, papiss cisse, defoe, jordan rhodes, lukaku, dempsey, javier hernandez. but all have a high price tag and stupid wages soo who knows we will have to wait and see.
Only problem I have with the free travel expect a lot of trouble with away fans (hooligans). pick up a ticket £20-£45 travel free they will be rubbing hands together wiith delight.
Free travel should go to season ticket holders who have been loyal home+away for say more then the last 5yrs IMO
In my opinion the 4-2-3-1 we been playing so far ossie fits perfect behind the striker. ossie could be our player of the year next season.
I agree with AJ it did look like we were playing 4-2-3-1. but I have a feeling it will change again yet once few more players back off the hols.
