I don't like Stoke, but I give them top marks for what they've done with their fans - free travel to all away games. If only other clubs would stop thinking "Who gives a f**k about the loyal fans. All we want is money, money, money. "

You don't need a Dubai oil merchant to take over in order to get a bigger fan base. I mean say Everton did it (free way travel), the amount of kids we'd get going more to away games would increase massively. A kid would start to love the club more if he/she feels the Everton love on away days - there's nothing better.

If travel to home games cost very little for you (for me it costs £10-£12), getting a membership would mean you can go to most the games for a little amount compared to normally.

Not only that, but if you gather £20 (average amount as away tickets vary) you could go to some of the grounds you haven't been to. Southampton for example would cost roughly £20 (ticket) + loads for the travel (official coach, train, etc), but instead of paying maybe in excess of £100 for an away game, you'd get it for £20-£40.

If only.

Yeah I know. But what I meant is wed get more kids, who don't necessarily have a blue family.

Only problem I have with the free travel expect a lot of trouble with away fans (hooligans). pick up a ticket £20-£45 travel free they will be rubbing hands together wiith delight.

Free travel should go to season ticket holders who have been loyal home+away for say more then the last 5yrs IMO

Stoke only offered free transport to away games because they have a poor away following, we have one of the best away followings in the leage

The away games aren't for kids mate, anyone putting there kids in a loud, abbrasive away end needs to have a good look at themselfs

To the last replyer, football is about the fans and we should try and get as many youngsters going to away games as we can, they are the future of our club! its a joke u are saying youngsters shouldn't go away games

Its a joke last few games we have had several smoke bombs going off, if your happy taking them to that then you go ahead, i'd rather take them the family enclosure meself
