Maloney was impressive tonight I would sign him straight away he has impressed me for 2 seasons the creative force for Wigan by a mile

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I also feel the same about McGeady. People may feel differently but he is what we need - pace and can beat a man. I think he'd be a good addition. Especially with Martinez's football.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't see the point myself as he's 29 nearly 30 we're suppose to be lowering the age of out team not increasing it further.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2013 09:36:17
Im a fan of maloney but he had injury problems a while ago and may come back plus he is nearing 30 i'd have him if he was free but unfortunatly he is not and as for mcgeady I think mirallas does everything better and is willing to take people on in big games whereas mcgeady won't in the cl or against the big teams in russia like zenit and anzhi they are very similar players just seems that mcgeady bottles it in the big games and also I havn't seen him do anything for ireland either

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with OP. Think we should sign Maloney as soon as we can. He has been the key to Wigans attacking football for the past couple of seasons and although he's 29 he's still got 2 or 3 decent seasons in him. He'd create bundles of chances.

Dog Puke Peter

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't want Maloney, Alcaraz, Kone or any Wigan player for that matter. Some of them are about 30 and we need to lower the age of our squad. Wigan players simply aren't good enough for a team that we want to be challenging for Europe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Has anyone told you they helped get Wigan in Europe and the FA Cup come to that. Your squad have won what exactly?

All this moaning needs to stop we get it martinez got wigan relegated GET OVER IT and show him that us everton fans are supportive of our manager rather than making us look disrespectful, sad, apathetic but mostly just pathetic and would you stop with the arshavin posts? Use the search function or look futher down as seeing a post about us getting him every time the site gets updated is tiresome and get behind martinez's signings and I know your thinking 'didnt you just criticise arshavin?' Yes I did because I know martinez will not go for him and that he is going back to russia and if he signs any wigan players get behind the players especially bluejohnuns yes I respect your opinion but posting the same thing in about 8 different posts everyday is boring we get it you don't want wigan players we understand calm down but anyway back to the topic support martinez and give it your all every game and every decision he makes forget about moyes he has gone and hopefully won't come back if he gets sacked I think its great we have a spanish manager who plays good football and be honest would you rather watch us hoof the ball up to fellaini every game for the whole season and finish 6th (if the scenario is outside europa league) or finish 7th and play great football and I don't believe we will finish lower I believe he can achieve great things here all we can do is wait for him to achieve these things but if your bored now that the season has finished then show your support for him and get excited for the new season instead of slating him and moaning to pass the time. COME ON YOU BLUES {Ed025's Note - i agree with all that mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree Blueskittle and like you i'm fed up with all the Martinez moaners also.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't agree.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with all that, we could be in for a great new era.

Agree0 Disagree0

I haven't moaned about the manager since he has been appointed and actually want everyone to get behind him. If we sign Wigan players I will get behind them. Just saying I want better, that's all. Take a breather and a chill pill.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2013 14:56:58
I didn't say you moaned about the manager mate and i'm glad youll be one of the many (not all unfortunatly) fans who will get behind him and the players I don't want wigan players and I want better I just don't think mccarthy would be a disaster but i'm glad you will get behind martinez

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep agree with you there blueskittle. He's OUR manager know. People need to back him and shut up. The more you listen to him the more he sounds like one of us and he's genuinely excited about being our manager. Moyes was always pesimistic about CL and moaned about money over the last few years (maybe with some cause). Hopefully we'll start hearing the positives of how good we are and can be. COYB!

07 Jun 2013 22:44:43
I would like to see vellious given more chances next season, hopefully Martinez will like what he's sees in training!

Arshavin, santa cruz, carlton cole all on free's would you have any one of them at all?

Andy

Believable0 Unbelievable0

07 Jun 2013 22:34:18
Arshavin is crap and overweight, santa cruz would want about 160k per week and is also overweight, carlton cole. Why is he on this list? After heskey he is the joke striker in world football oh and is also overweight none of them are good infact none of them are bad they are just sheer embarresment to football {Ed025's Note - sounds like your a fattie hater skittle..

Agree0 Disagree0

Definitely not Cole, maybe the other two if they were happy to take a big wage cut.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 22:47:51
no

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 22:57:43
Not at all ed I just no that an overweight player is an unfit player and especially when the players mentioned have been on the bench they havn't put any effort in to staying fit and I don't want players at our club who put no effort in

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2013 08:35:45
Hit the nail on the head Skitto, if they are any good why would their clubs get rid of them for nothing

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 22:12:58
OK he's my admition. A couple of the Wigan players are OK And we've bought good from the championship and lower teams before. Cahill, Jags, Lescott and Baines. They got us to where we are now and I love them for every ounce of sweat they shed for us.

Whereas some of these players have turned into great ones, out of all the years of buying players of this calibre how many times have we been in the Champions League (I don't count qualifying round)? How many Trophies have we won?

Look at what Mirrallas has added and Jelavic before we went for the long ball from Jags to Fellani last season. Fellani, even though no matter how much we say we don't care if he leaves we actually really do and would. Peanuts who has helped Baines become the player he is today by giving attacking flare and confidence to go forward to his game.

So after 11 years of this why not try something different and see if we can't step it up a little. Maybe some European experience, Spanish flare, Italian stubbornness, German endeavour and even some Samba beat.

An example of what you can do:

Pedro Leon, Sami Khedira, Sergio Canales, Ricardo Carvalho, Mesut Ozil all signed for Real Madrid 3 years ago for £19,000,000. Now that is spending money wisely and being creative.

Athletico Madrid signed 7 players for less than £1m to move up to 3rd in La Liga last year.

It's amazing how when Periera was being tipped everyone suggested Porto players. Now we have Martinez you're looking at Wigan! I'm sure RM is setting his sights a little higher.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

07 Jun 2013 22:38:05
You are really really boring just leave it if we sign mccarthy then get behind them if we don't then happy days for you just shut up about wigan all the time

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Blueskittle are you stalking me? If you don't like just don't bother reading my post. I don't bother to tell you to shut up and I allow you to have your say even though you to me sound small minded.

Ah well. I look forward to your next rant at me.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 23:31:58
I read every new post that gets posted and I scroll down so I won't see your name until after I've read it but now I know if there is hate for mccarthy (what did he kill your dog or something?) Or wigan it will mostly be you, do I want loads of wigan players? No the total opposite do I want mccarthy? No I just think he is a good player that is all i'd rather have fer or capoue etc i'd rather not spend anymore time arguing with you, your entitled to your opinion as am I and I respect that so there will be no other 'rants' from me and i'll leave it at that

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 21:45:53
Why is everyone worrying about us signing Wigan players? Have we came out and said we are buying all the Wigan team? The answer is NO, stop all the bloody moaning and let's get behind the new manager and our team {Ed025's Note - well said mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Exactly, if anything he said he wouldn't be buying Wigan players!

Agree0 Disagree0

07 jun 2013 21:25:16
i have followed everton for over the last 50 years. and though i think kenwright is good for the club. appointing martinez is still in big doubt. i know the some of the fans wanted him in. but he took a team down. also his win tally is that of redknap. not worth a toss, in the premiership. also martinez said he wants to build on what moyes has set as a good standard. well then we don't want rubbish wigan players in an everton shirt. they don't belong in the top flight. we need quality players like we have. if he gets his old players in. we won't finish in the top 10. raz. {ed025's note - i can guarantee a top 10 finish raz..you need to have some faith mate, and stop bloody moaning..he aint signed anyone yet!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Red kappas spurs weren't that bad move on. stop being a boring evertonan

Agree0 Disagree0

Remind us all again, which club moyse come from to us? He had loads of experience didn't he!! Give Martinez a break for f###s sake and get behind the guy.

Agree0 Disagree0

In my eyes he was the least gamble out of the so called 'three managers' up for the job, everyone saying Martinez is a risk but wanted Pereira, believe me he would of been a huge risk!

TC

Agree0 Disagree0

As everyone forgot our best player is from wigan

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 18:43:03
hi I no this is a rumour site but am I the only one out there that sees signing anyone from Wigan a backward step we are bigger than Wigan they went down with the 5-10 players we are being linked with by all you so called Everton fans I am still unsure of the manager and I hope he proves me wrong but come on di santo what will he bring back to the barlow days, gibbo

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I can assure you that you aren't the only one. Track back a few days on the archives - if there are any (is there Ed?) - and you'll see many more people saying nigh on 95% of what you're saying. {Ed025's Note - yes their are keith..

Agree0 Disagree0

The amount of moaning and whinging on here about our new manager is embarrassing I wish you would all get over it. {Ed025's Note - me too mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed give the man a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't mean to rile so many fans but baines is world class and on his day fellaini is and everton are not I am blue and always will be and we have improved in last 7-8 seasons we are and always will be a big and great club but 18 years and still counting it is a long time without a trophy and I don't want us to become deluded like them across the park

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2013 09:00:48
You contradict yourself; where did we sign Baines from?

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 17:54:46
Also I think Costel Pantilimon would be a good signing, 2nd choice this season then 1st choice after that

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'd go for that, think he is a great keeper

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he a free agent?

Agree0 Disagree0

No Aimar thanks well past his sell by date and will not cut the mustard in the perm.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 17:51:27
Pablo Aimar on a free? Still a quality player, out of contract, lots of experience, sign him up Roberto lad!

All the recent (and quite rightly) moaning about the new badge got me thinking. I remember Everton releasing a new kit in the mid to late 70's (the Bob Latchford era), blue with white trim and white diamonds down the arms. When the kit hit the sports shops it had a plain EFC as the badge but when the team photo was released the players had a round badge with the tower, the laurel wreaths and NSNO underneath.
When everyone complained (by written letter) the club released a statement in shoot magazine to say if you sent a self addressed envelope to the club they'd send you the new badge and your mum could sew it on over the EFC to bring the shirt up to date.
Queue several thousand junior blues swamping the club with mail. I got mine, my mum sewed it on and it looked the mutts nuts, along with my number 11 on the back and my rolled down white socks (in my little world I was Davie Thomas) moody blue {Ed025's Note - good stuff that mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Oh god! I feel old now as I remember that, my poor old mum got nagged to hell until my badge was on the shirt.

Did the Davie Thomas thing too, till a "docker" from the 5th form studded me good style in a "friendly" after that it was shin pads over being Davie Thomas!

Agree0 Disagree0

God I remember that I always wanted to be Bob till I realised the just having a big arse didn't guarantee you were any good. An Bob was quality. {Ed025's Note - my favourite player of all time twoold..

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you xreally xthink anyone is that bothered about the badge more interested in results

Agree0 Disagree0

Perhaps so, but as it is the closed season, (clue being in the name) There are not a lot of results to talk about are there?

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 17:23:16
would anyone have andrei arshavin? he's been released by arsenal

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ill take him. He can paint my dining room. Blue Lee

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd take him if he paid us instead of us paying him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah I would. be a close fight but i'd just edge it on points I reckon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Vermallen. ramsey plus £10m will do nicely thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 17:09:43
Danny Simpson and Franco Di Santo on frees anyone?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

People go on about our board being unambitious, but I tell you what some of our fans are even worse.

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously not first choice but would be good enough to fill out the squad on a free

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 16:57:47
I don't think we need that much to challenge
GK: young back up
DEF: a CB if heitinga goes
MID: 1 CM 2 if felli goes also a AM and LM
ATT: 1 plus replacing any sales

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Keeper: pantalimon from city

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 16:00:36
Ive been a season ticket holder since 1975, stop moaning about our new manager he is tactically better than moyes. let's be honest heitinga, anichebe and jelavic are not good enough and fellaini is too good for everton and so is baines. he will stay but felli will go we need a striker i'm glad moyes has gone.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You have been a season ticket holder since 1975, and you think Baines and Felli are too good for us!

NSNO?! {Ed025's Note - i know..it beggars belief!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if you think Fellaini is too good for us you really don't have high standards of our club in my opinion he is lucky to have us, but he will leave I have no doubt about that but will regret it in a couple of years. I predict a good summer of signings and a good season next year. I will admit I was wrong about Martinez he will be perfect for us I just sense it by the mans attitude so hears to the next chapter looking forward to it.

Agree0 Disagree0

What everton fan would ever say a player is too good for us!
charlieblue

Agree0 Disagree0

Only a Liverpool fan would say one of our players is to good for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Notice the OP doesn't say where the season ticket is for? I feel a disturbance in the force Ed. {Ed025's Note - more of an invader, than darth vader wtg..

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 21:33:35
Maybe the op means baines and fellaini could and should be playing for a better team and I like a lot of evertonions think baines is the best left back in the world and maybe deserves better however i'm not going to complain if he stays as I hope he does not too bothered about felli though {Ed025's Note - how any evertonian can say ANY player is too good for us really does beggar belief...sigh..

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 15:38:28
Where has everyone gone?. Are all the Ed's on holiday?. Are all the guys who post now a spent force after the badge saga and our Managerial conundrum?. Or is my website simply not refreshing?. Come on guys there must be something we can moan about?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why do people always put this type of whingee nothing to do with football posts for god sake get a grip this is an EFC roumours site not a general blog site.

SA90

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes get a grip, simply moan about having nothing to moan about, simples!

Please no McGeady I'm depressed enough with Bob Martin as manager but will give him a fair crack but do not sign the above player he's so overrated.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

07 Jun 2013 15:23:45
Anyone got any ideas on the next striker in the benteke/ lukaku mold closest I can think of is bony but he must be 25 by now

Believable0 Unbelievable0

07 Jun 2013 15:14:56
Let the fellaini bidding war commence!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How can a bidding war take place when he has a clause for a certain amount in his contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not rocket science, one team bids say 23m then another team comes along and offers more.

Agree0 Disagree0

And why would they offer more than his buy-out? Really it isn't rocket science, they meet his release clause and he's free to negotiate with whoever is willing to pay it. For example, for those who can't grasp this, chelski bid £22m, why would Manchester United bid £23m when they only have to bid £22m (assuming that is the buy-out). The only winner is MF

Agree0 Disagree0

Cos everton would much prefer to sell to the team offering more money?

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton would not have that choice. If someone bids 50m then he can still go for 22m. If the clause is 22m then the price is 22m. No negotiation - it's a set price

Everton fans starting to bore me! what's the point in being so negative? disappointing! Martinez has done wonders with Wigan considering how small a club they are. At least give the man a chance before we decide if he is good enough. Personally think hell do brilliant with Everton. I've also got a hunch felli will stay and if he doesn't ah well that's 24 million pound to splash on players (Fer for 9 million being the best replacement for felli) and Baines is staying no doubt about it! COYB we are together! We are a family! We are the peoples club! WE ARE EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB!

Id take Joey Barton on a free to firm up the midfield
I would also like to see Danny Graham pair up with Velios in a lethal attack
I also think Jonjo Shelvy is a steal at £8million red sh*** or not
Martinez is a class act and I would expect to win a trophy next season with top 4 season after
My Team
Given
Coleman Heitinga Distin Baines
Piennar Barton Osman Naismith
Graham Velios
ps. ed 25 you are the bestX

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So 8 million for Shelvey and you don't play him lol {Ed025's Note - shelvey is awful...

Agree0 Disagree0

Superb! You haven't lost your sense of humour and mischief.

Agree0 Disagree0

No jags, felli, gibson, howard, jela, mirallas hope that's your plan for our B team

Agree0 Disagree0

A red by any chance or on some top of the range wacky baccy. at least you didn't insult us and put worse has beens in like gerrard, carra and the exciting henderson

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you a mad man? (kopite no doubt)
No Tim Howard, Jags, Felli, Mirallas, Gibson or Jela/Anichebe. Mental.
Nathan

Agree0 Disagree0

At least never mentioned any Wigan players

07 Jun 2013 12:41:02
Would everyone lay off Relegated/lower league players and look at what you can pick up there:
Arteta
Cahill
Jagielka
Distin
Mirrales
Coleman
Or we could just go for your kouldrops, shandy andys and drenthes

Believable0 Unbelievable0

To be fair, Drenthe was a quality player.

Agree0 Disagree0

New keeper
Coleman jagielkar Duffy baines. McManman Ramsey Gibson pienaar Mirrallas bendtnar

I reckon we could get Loic Remy for 8m
ed what do you think? {Ed025's Note - i think more mate..

Was thinking this myself today. I think he'd be a superb signing for us, and probably reasonably priced aswell.

JG {Ed025's Note - you would have to ask roberto mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ed025: please could you ask Roberto 'cause we're too shy. {Ed025's Note - if hes in allerton rd later...i will ask him mate..

Fer's about 23 or 24, forgive me if I sound stupid, but how can he be playing for the U21's?

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 11:57:04
All three of them players (Fer, Honda and Soldado) are top class, who will improve us, but there's no way we'll be that ambitious with our signings. We'll raid Wigan and buy more players (like graham) who will keep the squad at the same level, or make it worse.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You forgot the must have word for a post like that - FACT!

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 11:56:57
don't particularly want mcgeady as I think he is over rated and arrogant and thinks he is better than he is. we already have a good rw with mirillas, lw with pienaar (although I think we need cover here for when pienaar is off form because he does have spells where he is ineffective). nor do I want alcaraz (even as a free). I want duffy to be given an extended run in the team, and if martinez plays 3 cb's, who better to help guide him into premiership football than jagielka and distin either side of him. if we do play 3cb's, then yeah maybe alcaraz as a free but not to replace duffy. at least one new striker is important ( I still have with jelavic). and a new cm (2 if fellaini goes). keep baines and a happy summer.

1878barlow

Believable0 Unbelievable0

07 Jun 2013 11:37:31
I don't really want Negredo or Soldado as they are both 28 and will cost around £20 mil, so they will only have 2-3 more seasons in them and if we have that much money to spend we should invest it in a younger talent who can play for 10 years.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

07 Jun 2013 08:16:07
Ed, what are the chances of us signing the following players: Honda, McCarthy, de Guzman, soldado, alcaraz, mcmanaman aiden mcgeady {Ed007's Note - None.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Might get Alcaraz on that list but that will be it.

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean none ed? We'll sign at least one of them players. {Ed025's Note - its ok mike....hes scottish.. :)

would anyone do a straight swap? fellaini for rooney?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No! I would take Lukaku from Chelsea Wilshire from Arsenal orDzeko from City though. RW

We need to bring the age of the squad down so any big signings should be under 25
Out Ins
Felli 24m. Fer 6m
Heitinga 4m. McCarthy 8m
Naismith 2m. Honda 2m
Gueye 2m. Dragovic 4m
Mcmannaman 5m
Benteke 20m
Net spend 13m
Howard
Coleman jags distin baines
Gibbo fer McCarthy
Mirallas Honda
Benteke
Subs springthorpe stones hibbo Duffy dragovic Oviedo osman Barkley piennar mcmannaman Kennedy jely big vic vellios

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Villa want £40m for Benteke

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't like that team. I'd pick Osman and Barkley over McCarthy, I don't see the hype. Is it cause he had a good game in that rubbish friendly the other day? Also I fear Barkley's United bound, and has been for months

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a belief and until I researched I believed it to that the squad is old. We actually have about the 6th youngest squad in the prem. under 29 we have Baines, Coleman, Gibson, Mirallas, Jelavic, Fellaini, Anichebe, Barkely, Duffy, Stones all in the first team squad. Distin is old and will soon need replacing as will Hibbo and Osman, after that we actually have a squad full of peak to young players so the next 3-4 years only a centre back, centre mid and wide man will need replacing due to age and age alone. Quality is what is required not youth.

Svenny

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 14:58:07
No they don't dortmund will apparantly sign him for 22m if lewandowski goes

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree Svenny but a lot of those guys didn't get much of a crack under DM I hope that will change with roberto

Quality players who will provide real competition for the established starters in our squad that's what's required. We don't need to buy a player who is only going to fill the bench week in week out if our young guns are capable enough they should be blooded via the bench. Time to show some ambition with the new signings

Agree0 Disagree0

Im guessing the poster who wants Osman or Barkley before McManaman watches from the comfort of his living room. McCarthy outplayed Fellani in all 3 meetings between them last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe the poster who wants Osman or Barkley before McManaman doesn't rate the Wigan player. And what does it matter where he watches from? Maybe he's had a season ticket for 70 yrs and has moved abroad and can't get to the game, does it make his opinion less valid? Seriously, there's some absolute nuggets about!
BTW it wasn't me who posted re Osman/Barkley

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jun 2013 09:09:58
Matinez has already told bill what he wants to do, who he wants to sign, what he wants to do with the youth, BK wouldn't take some washed up relegated manager he sees faith and ability in him, maybe the only deal we will do with wigan is loaning out a youth players, my idea on what he will do is once a fortnight 1st team Vs youth/reserves to bring out more ability and be tested against 1st team players, thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

07 Jun 2013 08:43:52
I'm really not worried if Fellaini goes what so ever, as soon as he got good comments about him he thought he was a king and then could start relaxing because it was to easy!

We could do a lot with the money we get for him for example

If Arsenal want MF we should try to include vermallean in the deal, perfect combination with jags! If they do activate his release clause I believe we should have around £40 million to spend. £20 million has to go on a marque striker, what we ve been missing for a long long time. Maybe Soldado, Negredo or Benteke. Still believe Fer would be a good signing and a good replacement for Felli. Another decent centre back (preferably youngish) and another classy winger who can play both wings (maybe Belhanda who has already come out and said he d be interested in a move to A Villa. )

Potential Transfers (trying to be optimistic)

Outs;-

Johnny H - 2-3 million
Felli - 24 million

Ins;-

Negredo - 20 million
Vermallean - 6 million
Fer - 7 million
Belhanda - 8 million

Class is what we need to take us to the next level!

Dont want vermalaen after rio ferdinand he is the most overrated centre back in the league always out of position and looks good on youtube sliding in but if you watch him on a consistent basis he is not that good distin is better and duffy will be

Agree0 Disagree0

We shouldn't need a centreback, we have duffy, give him a chance.

IMO we need 2 strikers, one who's quick and a good finisher for over £10m. And one who's big and strong in the Anichebe mould but better for ~£5m.

What do you think of our chances of getting James McCarthy Ed? {Ed025's Note - i really dont know mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Let's hope its about 0%. Signing Wigans players is a stupid idea. None of them are good enough to get into our team including McCarthy. We need to look elsewhere and buy class players

Ed, seen as though Kenwright has come out and said "He'll get a few bob" in regards to finance for transfers, if you had to guess, how much do you think Martinez will have to spend this Summer? Also, just as a side not, I was listening to Kenwright on the radio in work today and he said that if a player is sold, Martinez will not receive 80% of the sum but 100%.

BitterBlue {Ed025's Note - i expect him to have at least £15m bitter..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

£15m? Really Ed? If that happens I will cream in me pants {Ed007's Note - If that happens we will all be round to cream in your pants. And Ed025 can show why he was called 'The Milkshaker' at the local X-Factor auditions until Cowell threw him out.}

Agree0 Disagree0

£15M plus sales Ed?! Why didn't Moyes get that while he was here? If BK stumps up that Martinez will have to spend well and realise he's at Everton and not Wigan.

Didn't you know it was going to be David's until he left, now it will be given to Roberto. Increase in sly tv rights.

Ed 025, on the left hand column of these pages, where we have Rumours, Banter, Rumours 2 etc, is it possible to have a heading for *rseholes? Then that way all of us who are happy with RM's appointment, and are optimistic for the future, don't have to read the constant, negative drivel that these doom mongers are posting. One day into his tenure and some of these fellas are hacked off that Martinez hasn't won anything yet! For God's sake, give the lad a few months before we make a judgement {Ed025's Note - some people will never be happy mate..
