Do we play our 1st team on Wednesday or change it. Personally football is about confidence and we should stick with last night's team. Get another win under their belts and then on to the weekend (then again we could get beat and confidence is shot again. I hate being an Everton fan at times)

I would suspect that will be the way Sean goes GB, but I would like us go into every competition with a win mentality.

Fine margins, we play a weak team we get walloped then confidence takes a hit and the Dyche bashing starts again, play a strong line up progress and build up confidence hopefully.

Just got to trust in Dyche whichever he chooses GB.

I think we should be looking to rest a few so they’re fresh for Luton. Our second string should still be competitive against what will also be a weakened Villa team. Danjuma, Patterson, Keane, Ongango and Harrison should all play.

Double edged sword really. Confidence is key but villa are tough opposition. The confidence the 1st team has could dissappear if we get beat on Wednesday, then we back to being a nervous team against Luton and Bournemouth. I'd mix it up a bit.

I see the logic smash-and-grab but for me I would like to see us attack this cup, realistically the only competition we have any Chance of winning, as unlikely as it is.

Luton and Bournemouth are key games agree but we are only 6 games into the season and still in September! We have a long to recover and our squad should be able to rotate enough to manage those games, not forgetting it's the international break after the Bournemouth game.

It would also be nice for the away fans to see us actually go into the game with a team set out to win and not a sod it if we lose attitude which as a club we need move away from, as pointed out in another post we now go into every season classing survival as success.

Remember Nil Satis, Nisi Optimum! ALWAYS! ???.
