What are people’s opinions of how the rest of the season will go for us if/ when Dyche takes over?
I think we will avoid relegation because hopefully he can tighten the defence a bit more. We are losing the majority of games by the odd goal and if someone steps up or we buy a player that can score a few goals between now and May then we should pick up more points.

{Ed025's Note - we do have a chance i believe joe, i just hope people dont start judging him on our next couple of games which are a nightmare start for any new manager (arsenal and liverpool), lets be realistic i say mate..

I take the view he is here to stay, the odds on getting 23/ 25 points are in my view long ones. Last season we had two maybe three Teams certainly worse than us, this season we are one of the two maybe three others are looking at to keep them out of the crap.

It’s up to the squad if Sean can get them playing well again with passion and with 2 or 3 new players coming in we have a chance, the balls in their court last chance saloon let’s hope they take the opportunity to show us fans what they can do, they really owe us and the Club big time.

'If' as atm we are not 100% until it's official etc. . Sean is our new boss I personally will be over the moon as I honestly think if we had had the foresight to bring him here after RM's departure we would not be in this predicament in spite of our badly counselled owner and bungling board.

I don’t think anyone will judge him on the Arsenal and Liverpool results ed, but if we drop to bottom of the league with a 3 or 4 point to safety then the fans will get angry. Who they channel that anger towards at the club I have no idea.

It's all about who we recruit to the squad. If we don't get any goals in then we are stuffed. If we get a striker who can score and a winger or 2 who can cross and hit a dead ball then we will fly. It's all that was missing. The back line was solid but they couldn't do it all and the ball constantly coming vacck and constantly facing 20 shots a game is dangerous. Their confidence is shot and shows the last 4 games especially. They need some new blood in front of them to lift it. New manager same problems.

Said it many times now. We lack a creative midfielder to knit this team together. Just buying more wingers is not the answer. Though agree another striker would be nice.

LFC fan here in peace.

I've just popped in to say that Dyche will keep you up. and I believe it's best for the City in any case ( I don't live in Liverpool nor even in England)

But I also want to say that he bring you what I like to call "New Manager Syndrome", and whilst you'll lose to Arsenal, I think you might actually beat my beloved LFC.

Good luck for the rest of the season peeps.

It's just annoying he wasn't brought in a month ago. Or ideally 2 or 3 months ago. Then we more than likely wouldn't be in this position.

{Ed025's Note - your right chris..
