I hope they give it to Rooney. If it's a choice between him and Dyche I want Rooney. If he can repeat what he accomplished with Derby then I'd rather him than Dyche. We haven't got the players to play long balls so Dyche won't work at least with Rooney you never know he could lift the whole club which might be enough to keep us up. He must have something about him he nearly pulled off a miracle in the championship and sometimes he only had 9 players available. Its not who I am recommending but if it's between Rooney and Dyche. I pick Rooney. Anyone else for Rooney or would yous all pick Sean Dyche.

{Ed025's Note - I personally could not think of a worse appointment Cheshire. All about opinions though I suppose mate..

Rooney is an awful manager. He is doing terrible in the USA. He is probably worse than Frank. We would almost certainly be relegated with him. Dyche gives us a fighting chance of staying up.

{Ed025's Note - I think so too sheeds..

Crikey Cheshire wouldn't that be like jumping off the Titanic and hitching a ride on the Hindenburg?

How about Duncan Ferguson till the end of the season to oversee relegation then go all out for Neil Warnock.

Don’t get the love for Rooney.
He played for us for 2 years before leaving - two years, that doesn’t make him a legend and would be no reason for him so called lifting the whole club.
He’s also come out and slated his time with us.

Big no from me.

Rooney has been offered the job, if he takes it we give him 100% backing, like him or not.

Rooney? No way. DC United finished bottom of the league.

So we haven't got the players to play long balls? We certainly don't have the players to build up play, I have watched em, look at the door and not even bother knocking.

I wouldn’t pick Rooney myself but if it’s between him and Dyche and that’s all we have to choose from then it has to be Rooney. I wouldn’t let Dyche anywhere near a football team. Unless it’s American Football.

FFS Rooney versus Lampard . . . 'If Carlsberg did lousy football managers' it would probably include these 2.
I have nailed my flag to the post and for me, it's got to be Dyche if not at least someone who knows how to handle a PL football club.

{Ed025's Note - I agree mate ?..
