As I said Alan I don't know enough about them as players yet but they've signed for us and I want them to do well for us.

They are both young and inexperienced in this league so will need time to adjust and we will need to show patience to them

Certainly far more patience than I am willing to give a 61 year old manager who seems to have forgotten how to set a team up properly or perhaps he never could in todays times.

Let's see how long it takes for some of our fickle fans take to start calling them rubbish. I'm betting it will be a lot sooner than the 2-3 years some of our fans think we have to give Rafa who has done nothing to warrant any trust in him

Two for the price of one. We are getting two young full backs for the price of one left back potentially.
I like bw will hope they do turn out to be top players. Patterson I’ve seen a bit of, and he does look decent. The other lad I’ve never heard of.
Apparently both like getting forward, I do hope Benitez doesn’t knock that out of them?
Just need a change in tactics now and we might start to see a bit of improvement.
It does make me laugh though being classed as a “Doom and gloom merchant”, when all I want is what’s best for the club. And our form, league position and style of play currently suggest it’s not Benitez.
Time will tell.

It makes me laugh Woburn that the ones calling us Gloom merchants are the ones slagging the majority of the team off on the chat site during matches

We all forget at times that we all support Everton. I'm as much to blame as the next and maybe we should all show that support a bit more but I'll be honest I find it hard to find anything good to say about Everton management at the moment

I'll be ecstatic when I can.

Same here bw. It’s getting to the point that I look at the formation before I look at the team. Last week though when we saw that we were playing a back five, there was nobody near me that understood that.
Yet before that was announced people were buzzing after what we did at Chelsea, and we all thought Simms or Dobbin would start up top with DCL.
Once that first goal went in the atmosphere just disappeared, I have an old girl sits a few rows in front of me and she was screaming for them to go to a back four and bring another striker on.
If she can see it why can’t he?
