A loss today to west ham at home just shows how bad our squad is, I still think we need a good six players in the team replaced,
There are some plyers in that team today that just are not good enough and I don't just mean iwobi and rondon .
But if I start mentioning names I will just get slaughtered as usual but I would say a good six in that starting team need replaced.

{Ed0666's Note - what are you’re expectations of Everton Skylark? European places? A title challenge? I know you’ve the excitement of a new stadium and that will propel finances. I just think you need to walk before you run. Personally I feel a champions league place is at least 3 or 4 years away and I wouldn’t expect a title charge for at least 5. Newcastle have totally changed the geography of teams like yourselves which is a shame because the premiership is gonna morph into a super league of its own. If I was head of UEFA I would pass a law that clubs can only spend 100 million a season. This way you could incubate some kind of parity?

If it was Brand who sanctioned 34mill for Awobi, then it's guilty as charged, yes I know he is said to be pulling up tree's in training, but if his temprement means he cannot deliver on match days then it's time for him to go.
On the open market, we would be lucky to recupe 10mill.

If the club were going to sell Iwobi then i'd loan him out first that way the potential suitor would see how good he actually is in training and may be fooled into paying a little bit more than we would expect.

For me the sad state we find ourselves in financially means I would be happy with a top ten finish this season and having seen some youngsters in amongst the first team
Let’s face it, next summer we are still going to be shackled by FFP ??‍♂️.

il take the defeat no problems with that if we had ricky or dcl playing might been different story but i can't wait till january me even if its players going out get the ffp down then happy days as far am concerned.

Are Teams supposed to roll over when they play us skylark? We had chances against a very good Moyes Team but fell to a corner which they are good at and we are bad at defending. We all knew from the off this would be a difficult season. My opinion is a finish top 10 would be good and top 7 or 8 very good.

I feel it’s the realistic approach, anything higher in the top ten and we’ve punched above our weight big time
Our squad looks like a bottom half of the table side but I do feel Rafa is getting a tune out of them.
My son was really disappointed yesterday but as I said to him, this is a transition phase, we are missing two big stars so there will be times we need to dig in
I would like to see Simms or Dobbin get more action though.

Sad fact is we have though hopefully with Rafa we get some stability he definitely lifts the players to get more out of them
So hopefully he brings in some more passion on the budget he is shackled with until we usher in the new stadium and greater commercial revenue
Just need to have (more) patience.
