Just been speaking with George Wood. Some of you may remember him. Was telling me that Zaha is the greatest player he's every coached (at Palace) and if we sign him, that could push us top 6. If we sign a centre back (or two) we could be pushing for 4th or 5th. Also said his one regret throughout his career is leaving Everton when he did and still considers himself a blue!

Seen him at Wembley years ago, he was made up we recognised him and stayed for ages. Cracking bloke. I might have it wrong but was he in goal when Andy King put that one in top corner.

It’s 100m to stay in prem Zaha is the difference between staying up or risk going down so that’s what value he is to them, our value is he would make us better but not going to be risk of going down if we don’t sign him hence why there is a difference in both clubs value.
