I just wonder, could we have him in place by the game on Sunday. Such a massive boost for the fans confidence and something to keep us going through the summer.

OK, there is so much needs to happen before that becomes reality but the game last night showed that Bobbys position is untenable and I'd the club don't remove him (sacked, mutual consent, etc) by Sunday, he will receive some horrible abuse, which is unfair on a man just trying to do his job. He hasn't succeeded but he tried, it didn't work, we move on with another. No nasty, horrible abuse please.

Ideal scenario is relinquish Martinez of his duties, plonk rhino in charge for Norwich game but unveil De Boer as our new manager to the Goodison faithful before the game to get the place rocking.
