do any of the eds know if chelsea have made a 50 mil bid for gordon plus 10 mil add ons if we do sell him i hope we recruit a replacement for him and a forward is a must in my opinion what forward we can attract who knows.

{Ed002's Note - I would not worry about the costs involved but the Chelsea coach remains very keen on Gordon.}

why would you not worry about the cost involved?

{Ed002's Note - Because it is clear that the vast majority of football supporters do not understand the finances at all.}

Hey Ed02,
In your opinion because it's obviously impossible to know the plans of Mr. Tuchel, do you think Gordon is wanted to come into the team and play a significant part this season or would you think he's a player they are looking to develop more before he's deemed 'Chelsea ready'?
I personally only see him picking up minor minutes this season, cup games and perhaps 1/ 2 starts at best. The rumoured fee is very hefty with this outlook. - But i am often very wrong on things like this.
Whilst he's integral for us, i look at the Chelsea squad and struggle to see where he fits in right now. That's not intended as disparagement to Gordon, just that Chelsea already possess significantly higher quality players than us, thus blocking his path to first team football.
I fear this move for Gordon see's him on the path to limited game time and a loan move next year.

{Ed002's Note - He would need to prove himself and will have opportunities but will also be used in the PL2 squad. Chelsea are making changes to the wide players, so the chances will come.}
