28 Apr 2023 11:46:48 People saying the players were trying but aren't good enough How did we beat Arsenal and draw with City? They were good enough for that but not to avoid getting smashed 4-1 by Newcastle? They are crap but do not pretend these players are putting their all into these games.

If you change tactics and team setup that made it difficult for the opposition to play through, thereby protecting the back four, and yielding acceptable results to a system, with only two recognised midfielders, that made it far to easy to play through or expose the lack of pace and mobility of our back four with a ball over the top, you deserve what you get.
Despite the obvious shortcomings of the players, Sean and his coaching team made an absolute Horlicks in games against United, Fulham and Newcastle.
I’m fed up to the back teeth with both Sean Dyche and certain players coming out with platitudes that are meant to reassure the fans but then turn into performances on the field that are a million miles from what is required.
Totally unacceptable and an insult to loyal supporters who are prepared to go the extra mile to try and lift the team.
I just wish the management and players read the posters and contents of this forum, it just might strike a cord, or would they probably be arrogant enough to dismiss the comments because they think they know better.

We simply have no creativity in midfield. Some can defend a bit and some run around a lot. But that’s about it.
