If its Big Sam. and it looks highly likely. then let's get behind him and the players and secure our Premier league safety.
A very expensive recruitment process if he is going to get his 2 12 yr contract but let's be honest - if he is able to guarantee us premier league safety (and he is one of a few that can) then it will be worth it. because it looks really bad at the moment.
Pay him off in the summer/ 18 months time once he has stabilised the club.

Fantastic post. not quite old enough to remember some of the players mentioned (my dad would add Bobby Collins to the list! ) But totally agree. when we needed a performance, Wayne, as captain, delivered.3 goals and a captains performance. AND THAT GOAL!
