Well. I can't say that wasn’t expected or deserved. Credit to Millwall, they played against our weaknesses and, although very fortunate, exposed them ruthlessly.

Positives - Zouma Played very well yet again. Tosun took his goal well and stakes a claim for a start (although I doubt it)

Negatives - clueless, ponderous, gutless, heartless and completely devoid of any visible gameplan. Zonal marking does not work and surely has to change? Pickford needs coaching better?

Yes, it’s a very hard place to go and the pitch/ conditions were awful, but that’s where you need players to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in - Everton didn’t do that. Not one player showed any grit or balls, apart from maybe Digne.

I’m not one for knee jerk sackings and I’ve always been in the ‘give him time’ camp, but this is worrying. I think the board either do something now, before it’s too late, or he needs to able to show that the team is on board with his method. At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be much of that and I wouldn’t be surprised if the board were to pull the trigger now and admit they got it wrong.

The handball still isn't an excuse. We should be beating teams like that, simple as. We're horrendous and hopefully our fans can stop being blinded by their bias and see we're not better than the rest outside the top 6.

I agree regarding the team being totally underprepared and lacking any gameplan. How do they prepare for set pieces in training though? Its been a theme in our team for years now, no manager we hire seems to be able to coach a centre back to head the ball away. Whether its zonal or not, it should be basic to any centre back, but again we concede three goals to high balls into the box. it really is disgraceful how the manager can't sort this out, its basic defending. Silva really needs to get us up the table, but i think we are heading in the other direction.
