Everton submit stadium planning application for Goodison Park -
why ?

1.) 31 Jan 2019 12:24:18
Better disabled access seems reasonable still going to be a Goodison for a few years yet.

2.) 31 Jan 2019 13:44:48
And new roof, so yes we will not be moving for a long time,

3.) 31 Jan 2019 17:55:30
I think it is for when we run equestrian events. let's face it we have a few donkeys to start with :-)

Rooney, 32, will snub the move to the United States if manager Sam Allardyce leaves.

1.) 11 May 2018 12:30:05
He arrived at FF today and left around 12ish. didn't train.

2.) 11 May 2018 11:56:47
They both need to be gone.

3.) 11 May 2018 18:11:19
looking at Rooneys stats before and after Christmas I disagree I still think Rooney has something to offer and think it should be Sam sacked and Rooney kept.

4.) 11 May 2018 22:23:03
Rooney staying, glad someone stood up to fat Sam.

5.) 12 May 2018 08:54:49
me too Stig Rooney is a blue and can see the damage being done to our club and if Rooney threatening to leave forces the boards hand I'm glad he has done it.

6.) 12 May 2018 09:42:53
Ooh Rooney or Sam. That's like asking, do you want a Ferrari or an STD.

{Ed001's Note - more like, do you want a clapped out old banger than a Ferrari, let's be honest. His legs went years ago and he has about as much mobility as Sam these days.}

7.) 12 May 2018 11:54:33
although his legs aren't what they were his football brain is still there ED01 and if you get fast legs around him who make the right runs Rooney will pick them out I think he has suffered more than most with Sam as manager.

{Ed001's Note - if he had a brain he would be dangerous. Sorry but he has been awful for years and he was one of your weakest links before Sam arrived. In fact you were all saying it on here before Allardyce was picked, all moaning he needed to be dropped. Now you are all letting your hatred for Allardyce cloud that.}

8.) 12 May 2018 12:48:18
Got to agree with ed on this one, he has helped us Rooney but he is well past it now, we need younger legs, too many times I’ve seen him this season just get the ball stolen off him by a younger man, turned inside out and left behind. On top of that although it would be great to see Sam go now, I admit I was willing to give him a chance and even fought his corner at first, the man now has me disillusioned with the stuff he does and the crap he chats, I really don’t want to see players start dictating and holding the board to ransom.

If he not happy let him go, then let Sam go as well. Yes, players do help portray the feelings of the fans, which helps, but don’t want us turning into a Chelsea, where players just constantly undermine the manager and the people in charge allow it.

9.) 12 May 2018 13:10:09
I think Rooney still got a lot to offer, think he is good for the kids, future in backroom staff.

10.) 12 May 2018 14:14:04
To be honest, ed001, I've always thought that around ten goals would be a realistic target for WR to hit. Without them goals, we would be 7 or 8 points worse off so I think he has been successful in his return. I agree he is definitely not the same player that he has been in previous years and, if he ends up staying, I think next season he will be spending more time on the bench.
The entire squad has been below par this season and there have been worse players getting game time than Wayne, Williams and Martina spring to mind. I wouldn't be unhappy if he ends up staying but I would wish him well if he moved on.

11.) 12 May 2018 20:35:45
I agree in part with Ed001 about his mobility, but his footballing brain is still fully functional and that could be invaluable to the younger lads. Plus I don't think he'll mind being used as a sub more if we are winning/ playing more attractive football. He is clearly unhappy with the Fat Man's tactics imo and I think he's been really clever hinting he'll leave if the Fat Man stays.

12.) 13 May 2018 13:25:34
Do we need a 150k ambassador for the Kids?
I think its sensible to call time now.
He can take the Sun and easy life of the states or he can take the signing on fee, barely play, leave the family behind and head to China for 6 months.

He has done himself ok this season. The surroundings of a poor season have maybe done for him.
I wanted him back but he can barely move these days. He needs so much space and time that to be honest young average players are getting the best of him.

I actually think he should retire myself. I bet he tanks wherever he goes, regardless the lower standard. Pace is key. Shame he doesn't get a last run out.

Ross Barkley cumming back, I loved the Lad, ok his head did get to big for him, but he is a talent, so welcome him mates.

1.) 17 Mar 2019 10:19:45
He skinned his boyhood club out of 20 million. He'll certainly get a good welcome.

2.) 17 Mar 2019 11:19:34
I hope we boo him everytime he gets the ball he has shown no respect for the club that made him and he supported.

3.) 17 Mar 2019 12:22:06
And that's sporting behaviour is it DC?

4.) 17 Mar 2019 13:06:40
No booing for me none of us are party to what went on,

5.) 17 Mar 2019 13:36:02
I never boo are team during a game, not like many. I wonder Guernsey if you where booing our manager last year, the man that kept us up, I guess you where.
Rooney when he came back here with Man Utd oh yes and Moyes treated very badly by many when he first returned.
I doubt if you can honestly say you have not been friendly to returning players/ managers.

6.) 17 Mar 2019 12:47:39
You earn respect nick and Ross has earned zero he done us out ov money then said he had never been coached, he's a disgrace and if he gets booed every time he touches the ball it's nothing short of what he deserves, I dnt agree with DC often but on this he is dead right.

7.) 17 Mar 2019 14:10:22
He will get nothing from me. No boos and no cheers. I’m not party to the details but it’s not rocket science why he left.

8.) 17 Mar 2019 12:47:39

{Ed002's Note - The fans continuing to cause embarrassment to the club. You never seem to learn do you.}

9.) 17 Mar 2019 15:17:33
Agree Ed, ?

10.) 17 Mar 2019 19:23:40
Supporters pay their money and it is up to them if they want to cheer or boo.
We are not the supporter police and should not dictate how supporters support their team. Rightly or wrongly they are Evertonians.

If people want to boo, they have a right to boo. Is it right or wrong? That depends on personal view.
Coming on a public forum and slating the manager is no different to booing a manger in the ground. The only difference is the audience.

{Ed025's Note - honesty is the key smit, if you are not being entertained after paying good money then for me you have the right to boo, or cheer if the team are giving their all even though the result may not be what you wanted mate..

11.) 17 Mar 2019 20:00:23
Agree Ed. Its akin to the punch and Judy of old. Cheer the hero and boo the villain.
There are worse ways to show discontent. And we have seen all sides of that in football this week.
Booing pales in to insignificance to what we have seen.

{Ed025's Note - your dead right smit mate..

12.) 17 Mar 2019 22:00:31
Have to agree there Smit.

I personally wouldn’t boo a player, I do find it embarrassing if I’m honest, but that’s just me. Ross applauded the whole ground as he went off today, couldn’t work out if he was taking the Michael or being respectful!? Laugh at him by all means and jeer, I just don’t think booing him is Everton behaviour in my opinion. I’ve supported the club for a long long time and always we prided ourselves in being different from other clubs in the way we always had that bit of class in how we acted as a club and supporters. Anyway, great day today and well done blue boys!

13.) 17 Mar 2019 22:45:12
I was made up when he did that to be honest, Pierre. He got pelters from the crowd with nearly every touch, rightly or wrongly, but it's not the entire fan base that booed him today or when he was playing for us. I'd like to think he was being respectful by acknowledging the crowd when he was subbed but, at the same time, if it was a sarcastic gesture due to the hostility of our fans then fair play, that's acceptable and amusing to me! At the end of the day, the result was the most important thing to take from the game and the team put a shift in second half.

Big win for us Sunday mates, 3-1. can't wait to see reds faces when it's us put an end to there top place, LOL.

1.) 01 Mar 2019 19:36:37
I see a win too Lee. let's hope everyone on here wants one. Regardless of who we like and dislike at our club, defeat to the enemy is totally and utterly out of the question.

2.) 01 Mar 2019 20:58:16
With you on that lads bring it on.

3.) 02 Mar 2019 00:54:19
Av done calvert lewin 3-1 200/ 1 fiver on it come on dom lad.

4.) 02 Mar 2019 16:10:56
Nice one johny mate.

5.) 02 Mar 2019 19:53:22
When going into battle you need a main two things, superior forces and superior numbers. In the game where Liverpool luckily won 1-0, if you take the Rosey glasses off, Liverpool were the better side, in play, tactics and skill, we worked our socks off sweating blood and for that reason fully deserved a draw. What we desperately need is a striker who can both run onto the ball and hold the ball up. I am with others and say, I will celebrate a draw tomorrow and if we bring the same workrate and determination as the first game, actually win be running up and down our street with pants on a stick.

{Ed025's Note - now that would be a sight for sore eyes DFS..

Solskjaer is a puppet, Ferguson is in charge, big gamble Arteta, that we can not take.
