That we are good between the boxes but not good enough up top and our centre halves need a big brother to tell them where to go and hold their hands, myself I just don’t rate Keane he’s not good enough.

We haven't had a settled back four yet. With jags suspension Coleman's injury, keanes injury the defence hasn't had time to play together. But I agree that someone needs to stand up and take on the roll of leader back there.

Cheers BB, and yes totally agree defence is shocking keane came with a good reputation but think we could have got better for what we paid we need a settled team one that we can pick week in week out and think we will see some decent results, still think we need a striker.

I thought both Davies and Keane played well today. Our main weakness is up front. We should have been at least two up by half time. Theo missed a great chance when put through by Davies, and DCL should have just squared the ball to Richarlson for a tap in.

No he is not! I meant Keane. Clearly either coaching is still not good enough or the quality we have for Central defence is not good enough or as is more probable a mixture of both. Watched my GrandSon's team lose 2-0 today to top of the league (at their place and they are very good) that side had the toughest game they will have all season, Grand Son's side were defeated by quality and not for lack of effort. To many times I see with our side (no names) not the same effort.

We can blame defence all we want but the reason we lost today and last sunday was we failed to take our chances, goals wins you matches, that’s not to say there aren’t issues with our defence because there are but this is something that will take time to repair it’s a fault that’s been broke for years left too rot, Mina has been brought in to be the leader and I think he will sort out a lot off the problems certainly command box well but it will be about who partners him.
I’m happy so far with the way team are shaping even if results are poor at moment.

{Ed025's Note - you are so right metz, not taking our chances filters back to the defence and puts them under immense pressure not to concede, of course this makes them more nervous and we all know the rest mate..
