Guys would like a bit of help if you can, I am planning to get to a couple of games this year but this last year my health has took a bit of a downturn and I have to walk with crutches now. Do you know if I can get into the ground without using the turnstiles as I would never be able to get through them now. I usually get a top balcony seat which is ok because of the escalators.
Cheers for any help.

{Ed001's Note - there has to be disabled access mate, they would not get a safety certificate for the ground without it.}

There is disabled access on the corner of the Park End/ Bullens Road and also corner of Gladwys Street by the church. Best bet is to book your seats over the phone and explain to the staff that you need seats with disabled access.

{Ed025's Note - good advice that gray and im sure the club will sort it for AL mate..

There's also a disabled access for the top balcony next to turnstiles 3 and 4. Just ask the stewards outside to help.

In any case AL, don't rely on the escalators for Top Balcony 100%, they were out of order on Saturday and that makes 3 games out of 4 this season that everyone has had to hike up and down - club need to sort that out quick. Bluegray's advice is good. Anyway, good luck, mate.

Thanks for the advice guys much appreciated.

{Ed007's Note - There is in Everton Disabled Supporters Association but I can't see an e-mail contact for them, sorry. Their Twitter is @EfcEdsa and they have a Facebook page too if you're on there.
This comes from the Club's official site:

To enquire about joining EDSA supporters’ group please contact ESDA chairman Steve Heneghan at 22 Sandon Street, Waterloo, Liverpool, L22 5NW or call +44(0)151 286 9666.

It also has a bit on there, Al:

Not a member of EDSA? Disabled supporters of Everton should contact the Clubs disabled liaison officer Brendan Connolly on Brendan.connolly@evertonfc.com or 0151 530 5396.

I hope that you get sorted out, I'm in the same boat as you, I've been using crutches to get about for the past 6 years. The problem isn't actually inside Celtic Park, it's the walk from the car to the stadium as they only issue so many car park passes and I think you need to wait until someone gives up their ticket or dies for any to become available. But if you can get to the stadium I'm sure you'll be fine.}
