Don't really understand why moshiri brought mcarthy into the issue.
Everton wanted
Sissoko. he lacked courtesy but chose spurs for obvious reasons, but to say we suddenly felt a heart tug for a player we already have seems a strange way to supposedly bring light to light to the.

I don't get all the fuss over this issue. To me it seemed like we
a) lost out on a player we wanted and
b) couldn't shift a player who wanted to move

Claiming we pulled out of the first to keep the second is simply a decent way to cover our embarrassment and reconcile with McCarthy. I don't believe for a second we pulled out because of McCarthy, but I have no problem with the excuse and don't understand why it's such a hot topic.

Clumsy, but well intended attempt at pr, sorry mr moshiri, but until you pension off Bill Kenwright, you are going to get a lot of practice, cleaning up his messes.

Moshy should of just said how it was

'obviously spuds and spudissko had a deal in place an tight arse levy was looking for a cut price deal, little levy was testing Newcastle by going quiet on the deal till we met the valuation. Looks like a panic by player and agent to push spuds deal through forced levy to up his bid. Lack of respect and common curtesy from player and agent towards Everton is apparent to all. A simple sorry but spuds are going to up there bid and that is the players preferred destination would of done. We backed out of the deal hoping it would go tits up and we could have the last laugh, unfortunately this was not to happen'
