Ed001. If Stones is overhyped how come we rejected a 40m bid from one of the best coaches in Europe at the beginning of the season? Plus how come he's most wanted by some of the biggest clubs in the Premiership? I have to disagree my friend, he had a bad season with us and the phenomenal one last season but many Professionals and ex Professionals hold him in very high regard. If top clubs want to bid that much for him then that's up to them, cause he didn't have the best of seasons under a bad manager doesn't mean he's overhyped at all. My opinion

question for you ed1.do you rate henderson?

{Ed001's Note - he is very good at what he does. He is very needed in the Liverpool side. In the England side I am not so sure he is suited, but mainly because Roy has no idea how to get the most out of players like him. He does the donkey work that so many players fail to do as well as having a great range of passing on him. Is he world class? Nowhere near, but you need players like him in the side to allow the flair ones to show their skills.}

I think Stones is overrated because his positional play is shocking.
There's certain things you can teach but this is not one of them. You've either got it from an early age or you haven't.
I predict he will go for a huge price. Then he will have a few stinkers and be dropped, to be sold again for a pittance, similar to Jack Rodwell.

{Ed025's Note - i think the guy is talented frank but maybe not as much as some are saying, i would be sad if he left but if the price was right it would certainly cushion the blow mate..

Football is a game of opinions that's what makes it so good to all the fans everyone sees the same game different and the same goes for players. I personally rate fines mori a better defender than stones but he also needs to kick his rashness out of his game. I would personally take anything over £30 for stones. We should of took that 35 last summer there is better defenders out there than stones for a lot lot less. We also need players who want to play for Everton. And as for hodgson he doesn't pick players on form he picks by the big names and by what will get a good reaction in the media. I know wilshere is a decent player but he's been out for the majority of the season and hasn't hit any form. There are other players who could of been selected before him.

Did you just say Henderson has a great range of passing? Ha ha ha, nice one ed. that's given me and my mates a good laugh. Bloke won't even make the fools team next season, never mind England.

{Ed001's Note - you clearly have not watched him, he produces some excellent cross field passes and through balls. If that made you laugh, it just shows your lack of knowledge of his play.}

Seen enough to know he's not a great passer of the ball. Summed up by the pass he played to th Aussie keeper, lnstead of putting it in to Rooney. Guys average and you just can't see it.
