Ed002 reports coming out now Fonseca to be interviewed this week as you said we had interest 5 weeks ago.

Eddy

24 Nov 2017 19:48:34
I think the silva deal is still on by his interview yesterday and with Mr Moshiri telling that horrible man Jim white we are close to appointing a manager. If we have thrown al our eggs in Silvas basket it got to be him if moshiri is spouting this stuff to the media.

Eddy

1.) 24 Nov 2017 21:00:11
Threw all our eggs into getting Giroud too, still not at our club though is he.

22 Nov 2017 20:50:35
Hi Ed what is going on with us we’ve spent the last two weeks trying to get Silva from Watford with them saying not mid season from day one and now we are back to where we was a Month ago I honestly don’t know where they are going to go now it’s all staring to look abit chaotic no real leadership I am all for taking time but you should be working to a plan. Any chance of us going for Fonseca ed?

Eddy

{Ed002's Note - I cannot sensible answer “any chance” questions but I have explained about Fonesca before.”

1.) 22 Nov 2017 21:08:25
Just feeling down about the whole situation ed if the Silva situation is dead in the water we should go all out for Dyche or appoint Unsworth the players and fans need stability because we know is Everton fans can turn very quickly and it get nasty pretty quick. Have you heard anything on the Silva pursuit ed?

{Ed002's Note - for the time being I would put him out of your mind.}

2.) 22 Nov 2017 21:34:17
Cheers ed seen a lot of fans saying he should resign from his position and then Silva Everton go to court with Watford over appointing him! If he was prepared to do that I would like to think the board would steer clear of him. If in two years time he’s still at Everton say arsenal come calling would he do them same and drop us to get a bigger Move. I think we also need a manger who will get involved with Everton the projects they do in the community. That’s one thing I really liked about Martinez he did endulge himself into the club and it’s community projects.

{Ed002's Note - No, it doesn’t work like that.}

3.) 22 Nov 2017 21:39:31
He's had a few jobs as sporting director of late. What is your take on him as a manager Ed? Is he highly regarded as a manager in the footballing world?

{Ed002's Note - He speaks perfect English, he has a good record but it might be difficult to get him away from RB, not just RBL.}

4.) 22 Nov 2017 21:48:54
I didn’t think it would be that simple ed what’s your tar on how the Everton board / club se approaching the whole manager situation?

{Ed002's Note - My view is unchanged.}

15 Nov 2017 20:18:58
Hi eds what can you actually see happenings us over the manager situation it’s taken 3 weeks to decide on who they want “Silva” reports of a second bid turned down for him do they go back again will the next choice of
Manager want to come knowing he his second / third choice. I know taking your time on decisions is a good thing but this process doesn’t look like taking your time it looks like different views and it
Knowing what they really want which really does scare me.

Eddy

{Ed002's Note - The reality Eddy is that Everton need to make he best decision and that involves stepping back. I really don't know of a magica fix. For the decent supporters I want a calculated decision.}

1.) 16 Nov 2017 10:26:21
Evryone keeps saying Everton must take their time not make a knee jerk reaction, important to get the decision correct .
I agree with this 💯 %
What frustrates me is fans saying “ I am glad we are being careful and NOT making hasty decisions BUT if we take it there is no smoke without fire WE HAVE ALREADY ASKED SEVERAL MANAGERS to join us and for one reason or another have been turned down .
When Koeman was sacked any business worth their salt would have had a strategy in place like West Ham obviously did .
All I read when I turn on tv or Internet is press maki g a laughing stock of us over managers turning us down .
I remember when Harry Catrick would do business on the motorway and sign a player before it was even being talked about!
I FEEL DREADFULY SORRY FOR David Unsworth he must feel undervalued, not knowing how long he is going to be in charge and it cannot be good for team morale .
It’s not that we are taking our time to get the decision correct, our problem is we THOUGHT we knew who we wanted but whoever was responsible for assessing the risk of them turning us down got it terribly wrong!
It isn’t going to happen sadly but a big clearout is needed at board level as they cannot even agree amongst themselves.
Finally what I do not understand is all businesses have a “ boss” were the buck stops and we are no different
But it seems whoever our boss is does not have the ability to make the overall decision and this does concern me .

2.) 18 Nov 2017 09:50:03
Or just maybe things were so bad under Koeman, and declining rapidly, that the board didn't think they had time to plan ahead.
Mid season is an awful time to try to find a new manager unless it is someone who is already out of work - and they don't tend to be the ones you would want.

They clearly thought Unsy could do a job, short term and potentially longer, but I think his selections and results in first few games will have spoilt that plan.

14 Nov 2017 17:40:40
Not many people know what’s going on re Everton and Silva 40% Everton will go again because silva wants the move 40% say Silva doesn’t want to leave and the last 10% satin Everton have moved on after the first offer.

Eddy

1.) 14 Nov 2017 18:29:23
and the missing 10% said?

2.) 14 Nov 2017 18:36:10
We have moved on after our first offer.

3.) 14 Nov 2017 21:35:00
If Silva doesn't want it, then ask Tonto.

I think going forward after the Derby I would like to see a team of
Pickford
Kenny holgate jags baines
Gueye Rooney
Vlasic gylfi lookman
Dcl.

Eddy

1.) 09 Dec 2017 10:59:43
I like that team but given Liverpool’s form, I think Sam will drop an attacker and play another CB or CM.

2.) 09 Dec 2017 11:26:56
That’s a better defence than jags and Williams against us with those two, wed tear you apart with the speed, I think a new CB is needed for you guys (and us)

3.) 09 Dec 2017 12:00:57
In jan to improve the team I would like
Luke Shaw
Kara from Anderlecht
I’d try dmfor timo Werner or batshayui probably end up with Carroll or that lad from Cardiff.

4.) 09 Dec 2017 21:41:18
Rumour has it he will stick with a winning Team. That being the case, Salah will have a field day against Martina and I will bet now that Martina will feign injury.

5.) 10 Dec 2017 01:57:21
Way too attacking and only Gueye with legs in midfield.

02 Dec 2017 20:40:41
One player I would like us to sign in January would be Luke Shaw he had so much talent at Southampton and think he chose the wrong move and the big move has went to his head would be a risk but hopefully we could get some fire back into his belly.

Eddy

29 Nov 2017 10:09:38
£6mil a year 2 and a half year contract bringing Sammy Lee what this old boys club? Oh yeah if true he will be on more than zidane and Simeone.

Eddy

1.) 29 Nov 2017 10:27:12
If true eddy everton can go and get fooked they won't get any more money out of me.

2.) 29 Nov 2017 10:38:53
If he gets us out of the brown stuff, I don't give rats droppings what he or his staff are on. You do realise that Koeman and Walsh have got us in a worse state than Bobby left us in don't you. Another thing at least under Bobby Brown Shoes in hindsight we would almost certainly have got out of it. This time I fear without Allardyce we are certain for the drop and even with him it is going to be touch and go. I absolutely fear for us tonight, Moyes will set his team up where even with Lukaku we would find them hard to break down, so just think.

3.) 29 Nov 2017 11:29:45
born a blue live a blue die a blue - i welcome any manager to goodison or at least give them a chance anyway, we just have to deal with it and support our great club regardless.

4.) 29 Nov 2017 12:33:14
I will support them just disappointed in our club and people saying koeman Walsh go us into this yeah? Walsh has bee the main man going after Big Sam and his mates. I will have a lot more respect for him if he gets involved in the charity work the club does.

5.) 29 Nov 2017 13:23:04
Spot on. Through thick and thin, but with gritted teeth i'm afraid.

6.) 29 Nov 2017 13:59:23
How are you feeling about this Ed25?

{Ed025's Note - i think we all know how i feel about things charlie, im as sick as a sea going parrot but my loyalty is still with the club even though it is being severely tested at the moment mate..

28 Nov 2017 22:28:33
Ed002 if your about can you see Everton offering a deal that Shakhtar can agree to or are they going to leave it and appoint Sam thank s.

Eddy

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know Eddy.}

28 Nov 2017 21:05:52
Hi has anybod the eds heard anything loads of stories coming out now about Big Sam why would he come now being second choice forge second time asking for more money? Longer contract? I will be devastated if he comes and takes over our club and poison it if it does happen it will be one of the worst season in the clubs history he’s everything the club strives not to be will be very disappointed but will still support my team.

Eddy

{Ed025's Note - i tink a lot of us feel the same eddy, he wants a longer contract than we want to give him apparently as well as top dollar wages and money to spend, but will we cave in to this massively large headed crooks demands?..absolutely mate..

1.) 28 Nov 2017 21:24:50
Ed I have never been so down as an Everton fan as I am now hearing he is going to be appointed it’s doesn't bother me about the style of football being played to secure our safety it’s his past dodgey dealings high demands and his very high opinion of himself and also the media are pushing for this appointment for some reason.

{Ed025's Note - not something im happy about either eddy but what can we do? i thought we had more class but apparently not mate..

2.) 28 Nov 2017 21:43:39
I will be devasttated if he does not come, the only thing that stands between us and relagation. Our club does not stand for shiping 9 goals in 4 days or the most goals thus far in the prem. If your on fire, you call the fire brigade, not a team of russian ballet dancer.

{Ed025's Note - i see your point jcw but is selling your soul to the devil the correct way forward some may say...i suppose we shall see mate..

3.) 28 Nov 2017 21:49:17
Agreed ed I think you can tell moshiri’s targets compared to kenwright/ Walsh’s targets and they seem to have two different styles of football they want to okay.

{Ed025's Note - i have given my view on things eddy and will from now on hold my tongue on the subject until we see what transpires, if he does get the gig then we have to get behind the team and support whatever comes to pass, the well being of the club is paramount now mate..

4.) 28 Nov 2017 21:56:20
I woke in a cold sweat last night to see Morishi and Kenwright grilling Fat Sam, but then it turned out ok as they were adding some garlic, herbs and sauteed potatoes :-)

{Ed025's Note - i like that nick..

5.) 28 Nov 2017 22:10:52
😂😂😂 the only thing I can sa you are not guaranteed pl status if Big Sam is appointed this is football anything can happen it’s not a given we stay up.

6.) 28 Nov 2017 22:47:13
Last few managers we wanted did not go to plan, be ironic the one we didn’t want in big Sam turns out to be the manager to fix the slump, no pun intended, you just never know, if he gets a result at our neighbours his 90 % no thanks will swing the other way, should he be appointed.

7.) 29 Nov 2017 10:54:07
You (most of you) Jump on this 'Big Sam the Crook' bandwagon. But what has he done different from any other Manager? The England Job for a start, even though he did not know that sting operation (corrupt media more like) was what it was, the bloke was honest. Listen to his answers and one in particular, 'I would have to hear more, I may be interested but I am under contract to the FA, you/ I would have to talk to my present employers first'. Doesn't sound like a crook to me. Far worse in my opinion was that no mark at Bolton, creeping around behind Sams back spreading poison so that he got the job, and what happened to that.

No NO NO no don’t let it be him yeah he saves the club that season he is there but every club after he leaves goes down he leaves every club in a mess and with players who can only play one way. When he leaves we will be in a bigger mess than we are now as a fan now I am really worried.
