Hi Howie
We had 3 trips to Wembley inc semi finals

(And apart from the surrender against Arsenal and being robbed when James Milner was took out against Man U and it should have been a straight red but the ref bottled it as They were a big club and it was only minutes into the game )
since learner took over
And I have enjoyed them all
I have a 14 year old son has been to Wembley to see his team play 3 times
PRICELESS MEMORIES
What have you had!

And 1999 last final at the old Wembley against Chelsea and the semi before that forgot that one
Last post by me
I KNOW YOU DON'T READ A CERTAIN RED TOP
ON MERSEYSIDE BUT IF YOU SEE TODAYS PAPER BLOWING AROUND ON THE FLOOR OPEN IT UP AND READ THE DOUBLE SPREAD 3 PAGES BACK
ON A CERTAIN MR LEARNER
AFTER MY POSTING YESTERDAY YOU MAY THINK I WAS THE REPORTER
ALL THE BEST
UTV.

But I would like to say even if we seen that certain rag blowing around we wouldn't touch it not because we're evertonians but because we are scousers lad whatever is in it is probably lies IMO and I and nobody here would touch it I know you don't relies it mate because your not from our world but you let yourself down a bit asking us to read that rubbish mate and nobody will take you serious if you bring that crap up so I would leave that one kid.

Hi blue lain
Full respect mate know where you come from
Didn't mean to offend in any way
As I mentioned we have done Goodison
And Anfield a couple of times
Only had To take the lad to Newcastle, crystal palace,
Bournemouth Chelsea and he has done all the premier league grounds and he has done the lot befor his 16 birthday
Mr learner had put an end to that I suppose we will do the seaside grounds next season
It is only man city and now Leicester who have prospered with all the takeovers
The wheels have come off for Man U, Chelsea, Villa, QPR
Good to see Tottenham Everton doing it under there own steam
Interesting point though
Look how many managers Man C, Man U
Liverpool, Chelsea, villa have got though

All the best.

To be honest Charmed, I tried to cut you down on your first post. It's clear now that it wasn't the menace I first thought so good on you mate.

I've got a good friend who's a villa fan so I wish you both a better 3rd ending to the season than the first 2.

Hi Charmed, one of the things Everton need to improve on is the commercial activities. I live in the US and have done so since 1978 (I was born in the district of Everton) . Apart from several games in Dallas and Chicago when several hundred Evertonians congregated I have only seen two Everton shirted people. One was a girl who followed the Everton women's team and the other one funnily enough was last week at Meg O'Malley's pub in Melbourne Florida. I went up and introduced myself and it turned out the guy was a German who picked an English club to support. Funnily enough he was with a friend who had on an Aston Villa shirt. Now I mention this because the is definitely the first Villa shirt I have seen in the US, so much for American ownership. So both teams have a lot to do to increase shirt sales in the US.
By the way I was at Wembley in 1999 also, got a ticket from my brother who has connections. I was supporting Villa and was gutted when they lost. Like us a famous old team who don't deserve to be relegated. By the way I was also at Wembley in 1966 and 1995 and it is indeed a great experience which I hope to repeat before going to the happy hunting ground,
Mike.

Deary me Charmed keep yer hair on, if ya not bald. All I've said is I didn't consider what u said about O'neil being successful was right the same as I didn't think Moyes was, as there was no silverware. I too have taken my son to Wembley for 2 FA cup semis and an FA Final. We also qualified for Champs League, but was there a silver Cup at the end of anything? No. that's all. jeez!
