post to Bluecard & Toffee Ace about the strip.
I spent 6 months in Spain last year, all the resident blueboys in the bars complained they couldn't get the new shirts. One lad still had a season ticket & flew back for home games started to bring back shirts for the other lads.(now that's devotion) I just don't understand this kitbag deal.
one of the 1st rules of commerce is expose your goods to the danger of them being sold.
When does this existing deal run out?
I want to put myself forward as selling agent for Spain!
I am. confused Claudius.

We had many a good soldier in Ireland doing the same thing as u did hendo:)we could still order in online from the club but that works out fairly expensive.i think there's a couple of years left yet on the deal but I'm not sure.it is crazy tho, especially since we've been opened up to an entire new audience with Roberto's coming and our eye catching football that he's brought plus the American market with timmys heroics in the World Cup.

{Ed025's Note - i think we have 5 years left card..

Cheers Ed,I thought we'd 2 or 3 years left and thought that was bad enough.

That's nonsense, I live in Sweden and you can order the shirts online from anywhere and they will post it for less than a fiver if you are willing to wait a week to get it.
The deal with kitbag is silly but then so are the fans who have not figured out online shopping. I got a kit for me, my 4 year old and an infant body that resembles the kit all delivered online directly from our site

What's nonsense svenny,do you not think you should b able to walk into a sports shop and buy a jersey if you want to.as much as I love the net and online shopping,I still would like to purchase a jersey in a shop.

I've worked in the sports retail industry for almost 20 years. Trust me when shirts are released the first day is a big deal. When Liverpool went from Reebok to adidas off the back of their CL flewk sport shops in Swansea were taking serious money and so it has gone since then. I also worked in Cardiff when Chelsea played Liverpool in the community shield. It was bedlum.

Can you imagine if that happenend with us playing Liverpool. Seeing all these Liverpool shirts on in the shopsand nothing , not a single lice of Everton merchandise in the entire city. That is the realty of our rubbish kitbag deal. Utterly embarrassing.

On the point of being able to order them anywhere on the internet. Well that is designed so that all supporters have to visit the website and with that many hits the club can ask for more revenue for advertising space etc. Although they probably have not taken advantage of that such is the ineptitude of their marketing strategy.

But ultimately I would like to go into a sports shop anywhere in Britain and Europe and see our shirts up with all the other top clubs who we on merit are now rubbing shoulders with
Rant over.
