Apparently the Martins indi deal is quite close, €15 million. Seems a decent price if true.

Apparently we have agreed a deal with Bordeaux for Diego Rolan and it may be completed tomorrow, 15-18 million is the fee.

News now has a few stories on this.

3.) 11 Jul 2016 21:52:43
Bordeaux striker scored 7 goals last season! Not very exciting!

4.) 11 Jul 2016 22:04:18
Theres a couple of new articles but if you look there's some from last year. Lazy journalists in my book.

5.) 11 Jul 2016 22:45:06
He's supposedly a mirallas type player, plays left right or down the middle, might be decent player to have but for that money you'd hope for more than decent.

We'll receive between 1.5 and 2 million as part of the Forshaw deal, approx 40% of fee brentford received.

By all accounts Lukaku deal is just about done, snods and sharpy told a couple of expat blues in Thailand that Roberto wants to b there for the final signing of Roms personal terms in order to make him feel special.

Nawwww did he bring cake? We don't want a toure situation on our hands

2.) Haha expected that swan, fair play.shame you sometimes just don't get the fabric of our club:)

3.) 26 Jul 2014 01:41:47
Seriously though, I fully expect rom to be wearing a blue shirt next season

{Ed007's Note - Man City? PSG? Cardiff... oops!

4.) 26 Jul 2014 04:14:38
Yep ed that was kind of my point, either way I win

Apparently we've lodged a formal bid to Sevilla of around 8.5 mil euros for Bacca.no hope for that price as they paid around 7 I think.

Bluecard

1.) Seville are in a bit of financial difficulties and could be forced to sell

2.) I did here that Ste but heard same last year and yet they still held out for a good fee for merge do and navas.

3.) Hope we can strike a deal for him as the lukaku deal is fading

4.) There's doubt he'll get a work permit so looks dead in the water .

{Ed025's Note - not yet mate..

5.) Wouldn't qualify for a work permit unfortunately

6.) 21 Jul 2014 18:57:03
They only paid 1.8 I think

{Ed025's Note - £6,16m actually RV..

7.) Seville Chairman has said there is no bid from Everton, or anyone else for that matter. so that's the end of that one too. just more Rag-Talk-Crap

I like a lot of other everton fans tend to be a glass half empty type when it comes to us and transfers, but for some strange reason this time I'm not.I did receive a bit of info a while back off one of our youth players father(who also is employed by the club),he told me we weren't very far off signing Lukaku. To be honest I didn't believe him for a second as much as I wanted to.but whatever has happened recently the glass is suddenly half full for me,I believe that all this delaying is for a very good reason and not the normal(we're skint)reason.its only my personal opinion but I believe Rom will sign for us and that will then in turn help us look more attractive to the other targets that Roberto is juggling around.i believe great things are on the way again for our great club.NSNO

I know transfers are a lot more complicated than us football fans understand and I like most blues trust Roberto implicitly, but please please give me/us something to give us a boost.Besic will sign tomoro, in 48 hrs by the wknd etc, I think I'll cry if this doesn't get over the line soon.just get it done and dusted, this is a guy who plays in the Hungarian league, can't b that hard to do surely.

An agent called James cross and a Spanish agent called Alex guede had a meeting wit Roberto today in finch farm about a Spanish speaking World Cup player, who I don't know and I can't find any info on players they might represent.

Bluecard

1.) 10 Jul 2014 22:23:21
Spanish media are reporting that Carlos Sanchez, Columbia's defensive midfielder, has signed for Everton today.

2.) My mistake Alex guede is a Spanish lawyer and not agent.

3.) Back in the day, it was clandestine meetings (aka tapping-up) between managers and other clubs' players at remote and isolated locations or in obscure hotel rooms (booked under assumed names) that were the settings for transfer negotiations. Then - to many people's surprise - the done deal was reported in the newspapers and fans would wonder at how another transfer coup had been achieved.
Nowadays, with agents (and all sorts of other middle-men) involved - plus the 24-hour news media (with their "sources" feeding info), it's pretty much impossible to keep deals secret. That's why there are so many rumours being circulated and repeated - especially on social media. All the club can do is act properly by saying nothing (they shouldn't be commenting on other clubs' players anyway) until all parties have agreed a deal. Some hope with our insatiable appetite for gossip about our clubs - and the clubs, players, agents, etc., using all means to get the best deal for themselves!
:-)

What a huge game ahead of us today, I can't remember being so nervously excited in a long time.im stuck between two views of the game ahead. On one hand I've still got the Moyes mentality, hard to get rid of after 11 years unfortunately, this is what if we lose with both Utd and spurs then breathing down our necks our Run in becomes very pressurized. On the other hand there's the ever positive Roberto's view that if we win we look above and at champs league and we just relax and play freely. This Game is massive for us, please Roberto help exorcise this last piece of Moyes negativity in me and Free us all from ever seeing the glass half full again.COYB.

Ed can we loan anymore players apart from loan to buy, I thought we reached our Quota but I'm hearing differently in the media?cheers.

Bluecard

{Ed025's Note - its a tricky one card, there are so many factors, age, origin, status etc...i give up on it mate..

1.) Cheers Ed, it sounds a bit confusing alrite.

Hopefully we are interested, very good player, quick feet and very strong in possession. Think he's AC Milan bound but would love us to get him, 12-15 million I'd imagine the fee.

We had many a good soldier in Ireland doing the same thing as u did hendo:)we could still order in online from the club but that works out fairly expensive.i think there's a couple of years left yet on the deal but I'm not sure.it is crazy tho, especially since we've been opened up to an entire new audience with Roberto's coming and our eye catching football that he's brought plus the American market with timmys heroics in the World Cup.

Bluecard

{Ed025's Note - i think we have 5 years left card..
