Do we even know if Rhino wants it long term? He loves the club. If it doesn't work out that will most likely be his career at Everton over. I'm not sure he'd be willing to risk that. Sure he'll take it as a temporary but I'm not even sure he'd accept if it was offered long term.

I think he would rip your arm off for the job. I think he said after the Norwich game he would love the job but it's out of his hands. If he did get the job and it didn't work out, I'd like to see him kept at the club tho, back into the coaching set up.

2.) 24 Oct 2017 13:00:37
That is a major concern for me too. Unsworth has done a great job at U23 but I think with this current crop of players in the form they are giving him the job full time may not be the best for his long term progression. Would love to see him succeed though.

3.) 24 Oct 2017 14:55:04
He has stated he wants it.

4.) 24 Oct 2017 20:26:41
David comes over very confident that he can get Everton winning matches again he must of known of the problems with Koeman.

22 Oct 2017 22:18:38
So many long posts so I'll keep it short. Koeman is finished. Fans and players have no respect for whatever it is he's trying to achieve.
It's untenable now so let's just wait. He will not be our long term solution we all hoped he would be.

What we do have is a lot of half decent young players and older players who can and should be performing better. Let's do a Leicester, give it to a Unsworth as a stop gap, if it works then let him stay on until it doesn't. Staying up is now our main priority.

Due to confidentiality I can't say too much but very few private jet flights on stand by from mainland Europe to north west England. It's actually been an incredibly quiet day for jets.
With that in mind it's highly unlikely us, reds, city or united will be signing anyone from the continent. I don't have access to internal uk flights unfortunately. If we are (and personally I don't think we will) signing someone I'm fairly confident it will be domestically. If there was plans for someone from Europe clubs would have at least asked for options and to hold certain routes.

Svenny

{Ed001's Note - no one needs to fly anywhere to be signed.}

1.) 31 Aug 2017 18:30:47
I don't get you? Club representatives will be in that respected country . Ready to do deal . no jets needed 😃🤣.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 18:35:02
Well they do for medicals. This was not just an Everton post it was basically saying that from the transportation side everything is extremely quiet.

{Ed001's Note - they can do a medical where the player is, like they did with Ox last night.}

3.) 31 Aug 2017 19:53:16
Well in previous years lots of jets have been put on standby. Today there is barely any. I work in this industry just saying what I see. It's not a dig or being negative i'm just saying historically they fly players over. Maybe because of the international break it's different but I'm only passing on information about flights.

{Ed025's Note - the international break may have a lot to do with that svenny mate..

08 Aug 2017 20:36:06
Hearing Dolberg from Ajax boys.

Svenny

1.) 08 Aug 2017 21:02:57
would be good signing mate.

2.) 08 Aug 2017 21:23:17
i heard he wasn't for sale i know roma made a bid last month and that was dismissed by ajax but they have insisted they won't sell him this summer. unless we have made a ridiculous offer something like 50 mill plus niasse maybe, can't see why ajax wouldn't go for that.

3.) 08 Aug 2017 21:24:23
Decent source svenny?

4.) 08 Aug 2017 21:37:33
God I hope so 🙏.

5.) 08 Aug 2017 21:48:00
What's the source?

6.) 08 Aug 2017 23:14:15
no source just the job I work in. I'm putting 2 and 2 together but someone is scheduled to come from Amsterdam to Liverpool on Thursday on a private jet. I must stress these booking change by the hour. However the money has been deposited.

7.) 08 Aug 2017 23:43:05
No chance.

8.) 09 Aug 2017 00:30:40
Isn't there a keeper from holland that we are meant to be after? can't remember his name but I'm sure he's from there, but I much prefer your rumour, fingers crossed something happens soon, really need a striker and a pacer winger.

{Ed007's Note - The 'keeper you're thinking about is Vitesse's Eloy Room. I'm not saying that's who's flying in btw, just who you're linked to.}

9.) 09 Aug 2017 00:33:48
The fella who does contracts was spotted getting flight to Amsterdam.

10.) 09 Aug 2017 09:32:46
Or Jorgensen perhaps?

11.) 09 Aug 2017 12:48:11
Have to say Svenny a strange choice of words.
Knowing a flight due from hardly is hatdly the same as ' 'hearing Dollberg.

Would love it to be true but sounds more like a wild guess than a rumour.

12.) 09 Aug 2017 12:49:13
no chance has previously said he wouldn't want to move due to him being at the right club, and he's not wrong champions league and starting every game at such a tender age, put this one out your heads blues.

13.) 09 Aug 2017 13:01:46
Dolberg is far too slow. Can't see it myself.

14.) 09 Aug 2017 13:02:35
Whoever it is, get him on easyJet and use the money saved to tie up the Sigurdsson deal.

07 Jul 2017 21:51:28
We have put a bid of around 60 mill for Van Dijk.

Svenny

1.) 08 Jul 2017 00:52:11
May be pure rumour, am not itk, however, was told by a person who is an efc insider, that we had offered Barkley + 20m, if you put 40m for barkley as a realistic valuation, then you get 60m!

Personally think that's the best 45 minutes of our season so far. We will be a different proposition with a striker that's not just a nuisance but can actually play a bit as well.

Svenny

1.) 01 Jan 2018 18:29:39
Agreed. Love Oumars enthusiasm but he isn't going to get us the goals we need.

18 Dec 2017 23:20:48
Say what you want about Sam, regardless of the points and the results, he doesn't feed us bull poop which is soooooo refreshing. We were crap first half, the game would have been different if DCL didn't get the rebound, Davies did give us more forward monmentum and Rooney can play for the next few years if he treats his body properly. I'm enjoying Sam.

Svenny

{Ed025's Note - i cant fault the job hes doing svenny and the results have been great, i just dont want this type of football to be synonymous of everton and hope that we can develop our style to be more entertaining and good to watch mate..

06 Dec 2017 22:20:02
Ed0002 will shut me down I'm sure, however there's one number 9 in Europe that we can afford and that might give up champions league for premier league football and that's the lad from Porto. Abo something. He's the number 9 he's the one that could be tempted.

Svenny

1.) 06 Dec 2017 23:50:44
Vincent Paté Aboubakar.

2.) 07 Dec 2017 09:01:05
Iv been saying his name for about two years, he was on loan last season at besiktas and smashed the goals in there he’s big, strong and skilful n scores some great goals. GO GET HIM SAM!

29 Nov 2017 20:00:37
Prediction for tonight is the ultimate rock bottom. Allardyce has his biggest challenge ever. No club has conceded as many as us in this amount of games and stayed up. That stat will be even more damming after the next 90 minutes. Can't see anything other than a 0-3 or a 0-2. Please superman let me be wrong.

Svenny

1.) 29 Nov 2017 20:47:48
UGive your head a wobble mate what a daft statement.

2.) 29 Nov 2017 20:53:25
We are Everton. One thing we're good at is bucking the trend.

3.) 29 Nov 2017 20:56:41
Cmon Big Sam.

4.) 29 Nov 2017 21:03:05
Well Svenny it is 2-0 at half time but we are winning.

5.) 29 Nov 2017 21:52:53
what a load of tripe.

6.) 29 Nov 2017 22:04:42
If your a true Evertonian always believe!

7.) 29 Nov 2017 22:13:39
Well said Wakka mate.

8.) 29 Nov 2017 22:31:09
Sod off the lot of you. That result papers over major cracks I’m glad we have Big Sam in. We were not great tonight at all. One win and everyone is buzzing. Reign it in. We had at best 5 shots on target. Had they scored at 2-0 it would have been a different game. The only team with less going for them this season than us is West Ham. Rooney was majestic and he’ll be Sams superior Kevin Nolan but let’s not kid ourselves anyone who actually witnessed that 90 mins won’t leave with great confidence.

{Ed025's Note - come on svenny if you cant be happy after a 4-0 win mate then its time to pack in, not brilliant i admit but better than the recent guff..

9.) 29 Nov 2017 22:46:42
Ed I’m over the moon we got 3 points because it’s so vital, I’m just saying any evertonian that’s watched that and thinks we’ll be fine now is deluded.

{Ed025's Note - its a building block though svenny, all points are vital now so when we get 3 its hard not to celebrate mate..

10.) 29 Nov 2017 22:47:26
4 goals. Clean sheet. We ha dpossesion, energy and fight. All good ingredients for results.

11.) 29 Nov 2017 22:50:05
Ed we were brilliant going forwards at times but even I am agreeing that Williams is becoming a liability. And we sit off far too much. We need to press more when not in possession.

{Ed025's Note - its still not great degs but its a step in the right direction mate..

12.) 30 Nov 2017 09:25:43
Yes Ed it sure is and the goal by Rooney to be remembered for life. I think people were hoping for top 6 or even top 4 which really was unrealistic. I am happy with that clean sheet as much as anything. That is THE building block to start from.

{Ed025's Note - very much so degsy..

26 Nov 2017 15:32:58
Reality time. Southampton should have scored 7 or 8. This is the worst squad we have had in my lifetime. They are incapable and unwilling. No manager will help. We have to prepare for the championship. I'd go with Karanka if we could. Knows the championship and got out of it. We are 100% going down. All season it's looked like we've been playing with 10 men regardless of opposition or home or away. Awful, spineless, and most alarmingly they are simply not good enough. The summer of 2017 is the summer which will change our club forever. We all thought it was the change of a positive future, turns out it was the change that will be very difficult to reverse and come back from.

I rate him as a hold up player. Would take him. I'd take Shane long as the Vardy equivalent as well for some pace.

They gave him an 18 month contract that’s basically end of the season and a payoff. We clearly needed a striker. Got one. That will be that in my opinion. Next appointment is the big one.

The reality is he did his medical in the summer, passed so but he walked out for reasons unknown. What he did was accept a payoff to sign in January for a lot less so he and his agent get a nice kick back.
What is ridiculous about the letter is that why wouldn’t he and more fool our club for allowing it. Nothing illegal happened, we should have said take him now in the summer or he’ll be a free agent next summer and loads of clubs would be in for him so if you really want him take him now, if you’re willing to gamble do that. Smart business by Chelsea, awful from us.

She was sort of right, it has been a waste of money so far this season!

My Mrs also didn’t understand the Rooney goal. She said wow he got so lucky, what was he trying to do?
