I'm excited about Thursday but can't help but think we have all read a bit too much in to this tweet.
It seems odd that none of the press are speaking about it.
Does anyone have any knowledge about the stadium situation outside of the cryptic tweet?

Svenny

1.) 20 Mar 2017 17:56:54
Exactly! I'm pretty sure every other stadium news (Spurs, Chelsea) has made the papers. nothing on us? I'd say it's a sign we are reading way too much into the tweet. Hope I'm wrong!

{Ed002's Note - It will need to have the design completed, have a site agreed and then go though planning and consultation before there is anything noteworthy. It is a long way off.}

2.) 20 Mar 2017 18:47:37
Well if nothing is revealed on thursday we need to higher the plane to demand anderson out. I agree with ed, they may say we have agreenent for plot of land at last but we are along way from getting the brickies in.

Something is going on at Sevilla. Their incredibly good and highly sort after Director of Football Monchi (9 trophies in 10 years at a 200 million profit in the transfer market) looks like he is walking.
Not suggesting it has anything to do with Emry or us but it's nice to dream of them as a combination.

Svenny

1.) 31 May 2016 07:41:18
He is wanted by Mourinho at United but would be great if we could have him.

2.) 31 May 2016 07:42:10
I just posted about head coach and director of football so if what your saying has legs. The two may come as a package. Monchi and Emery. Here's for hoping.

3.) 31 May 2016 07:57:19
If you wanna read my post, its in the 'banter' part.

27 May 2016 19:26:30
Cold shiver just went down my spine. Surely we are not waiting for a manager to be leaving their post after the euros. It's not going to be Hodgson is it?

Svenny

{Ed002's Note - It won't be Hodgson.}

I had to make short my self inflicted exile to report some disturbing news.

I emailed the Director of communication for Everton Football Club. My email was essentially a rant at how the club treat us fans with contempt in terms of their communication and to step it up.

The disturbing thing is the man responsible for our communications emailed me today at 13.51

You would hope he would have more pressing things to do than write me a long email. As much as I appreciated the considered response it did suddenly dawn on me that this is a sign that I guess we won't have too much to communicate today!

Svenny

1.) 01 Sep 2015 15:22:14
Why don't you copy and paste and let us all see what he had to say

{Ed025's Note - he has done..

2.) 01 Sep 2015 15:36:45
I don't genuinely think that fact that he was emailing me has any bearing on anything it was just a bit of fun. Although the fact he kept responding straight away did then make me think he can't be too busy.
I did tell him to get back to work on the press release for our big deadline day signing, he replied will do.
Not holding my breath though!

Hearing parade on Sunday. Double signing. As I said yesterday I know two deals have been signed off from the board that means only medical remains, price and personal terms must have been agreed.
Although my source is an person and I guess he has already sanctioned 2 signings this summer so could be on the wind up

Well with that start to the season we could either be serious title challengers by mid September or we could be out of the top 4 race by the same time.

I want us to go all out for Mharez. Make a statement, he would have been way beyond us a year ago but his stock has dropped and if we pushed it he would come. A 3 behind Lukaku of mirallas, Mharez and bolasie, or lookman, or Calvert Lewin or Delboy is formidable and scary in terms of pace and running at defenses.

Svenny

1.) 30 May 2017 21:42:43
Lukaku is off mate isn't he?

2.) 30 May 2017 22:37:24
Wouldn't have him Svenny. As he has already shown he is just another mercenary. Believes he is better than what he is, let's his performances drop when he doesn't get the move he wants. If he came to us we'd just be used as a stepping stone in his eyes. Don't want players like that anywhere near the club.

15 May 2017 14:45:51
The more I look at the stats rather than my heart I think we get some cash for Ross and move on.

5 assists to Lukaku in 4 seasons, 3 of which came this season. Compare to say Delboy who in just 36 appearances assisted Lukaku 12 times.

Some have said yes but he's created more chances for Rom than any other premier league combination, that's nice but it's hard to quantify a chance and they couldn't of been that great as one of the best finishers in the league on scored from 3 of them.

I say we encourage/ force Rom to stay and get him a number 10 who will actually find him regularly. United or whoever can have the 6 assists and 4 goals a year Ross provides.

Svenny

1.) 15 May 2017 17:18:29
If they both don't want to play then it's in everyone's interest to just move on. the club has been there for best part of 140 years. players come and go. cest la vie.

{Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

2.) 15 May 2017 21:46:43
I have fought Ross' cause many times but ultimately 5 assists to bloody Lukaku in 4 seasons is simply awful.

3.) 15 May 2017 22:36:13
5 goals from playing as a virtual second striker is very poor. To think that this season jags is 2 behind and he got his 3 in 3 games.

01 Mar 2017 20:15:41
Eds is there premier league interest in this Danish kid Billing at Huddersfield? He's class for 19. Long term Barry replacement. Guess he's being watched by plenty though.

Svenny

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure why you are asking on the Everton page, but Crystal Palace and Sunderland have shown interest in Billing.}

1.) 01 Mar 2017 21:09:17
I agree that the lad is showing real potential. A great prospect.

25 Feb 2017 17:17:08
6 points off 3rd. Worst case 9 points as those above us have game in hand. However with Spurs, Liverpool and United all to play then Arsenal closing day it is in many ways in our own hands if we can push on in to the top 6 and beyond.

Svenny

1.) 25 Feb 2017 18:47:42
It is in our hands as you say. Beat them all and we finish in the top 6. Simple.

We have a manager who won a great amount as a player. He has a squad of young players who are winning their age group trophies (u23 league last season, u20 World Cup) our senior squad players have experience of never winning anything except Barry. The only reason I would Wayne back is because he's won it all. We need more winners to infect the mindset of the squad. Zlatan was so priceless for utd last season not really for his goals but he wins and demands the same from his colleagues. Rooney could influence more off the pitch than on it.

Don't make me laugh. Ross never finds Rom. He has assisted Rom 5 times in the entire 3 seasons or so they have played together, I mean that abysmal.

Obviously never seen him in the flesh or for 90 minutes on tv but his highlight reel just shows 2 things. He's fast, very very fast, usain bolt fast. He is raw and has no real idea of what his teammates are doing. Proper raw. Frankly that only special thing I could decifer from his "best" bits on YouTube was his unreal pace.

Lookmam was promised to the u20s and his prem playing time in the last month was apparently down to this. We basically said to the FA we will give you lookman fresh and raring to go if you leave Davies alone.
Not sure how true this is but it was stated on 5 live several times that the Everton 5 who went to the u20s basically were under the control of the FA about a month before the season finished. Lookman will get a lot more playing time next season.

I don't remember Lukaku rolling Smalling like he did Keane at goodison this year.

OP is spot on. We need to be buying the players with the most potential to improve. Lookman looks a world beater in his age group, we might have the next Ian Wright in him. We need to use our money to move forward not to win the next game.

Totally ridiculous wishlist. Pickford flatters to deceive, lacazette will be an expensive flop for someone, maybe us but unlikely we would risk not just the fee but such a high percentage of our wage bill on him really don't think we would be in for him. Tah would be an interesting gamble, shame Moyes didn't rate Mustafi.

The way Keane got turned by Lukaku (I know Rom is good) was so schoolboy I now have big questions marks over him. The emergence of Calvin Lewis, Lookman, the return to form of Mirallas and the undecided future of Delboy means the inside forward/ wings are not a desperate area, if we are buying let's go big, Ghezzal is about West Ham standard.

I would spend our entire budget on Tiellmans but so would a lot of super clubs, think Madrid, Bayern, United etc. not seen enough of Kluivert but I do hear he is very exciting. I know it's just in a dream case scenario but I can't see any of those happening apart from Keane but I would not be jumping for joy about him to be honest.
