Twice in the last 4 Years Kenwright has had 2 possible buyers:

Firstly The Sheik, not entirely his fault, but fell through at the last minute due to City having a better stadium.

More recently Bernie Ecclestone was to buy a 51% share of the club, at the last minute Kenwright only wanted to give away 49% so him an his crew could retain the majority shareholding. This was a done deal and the paperwork had been drawn up.

Ecclestone told him to get stuffed, jumped in his helicopter and flew off into the sunset.

This man does not have Everton best interests at heart, he has no idea how to run a football club! He could have sold this club several times over but always finds a way retaining control.

I heard something along these lines from a mate who works in an f1 team he said it was far from a done deal but that eccleston and his backers were looking at buying everton but the price and money needed was making it an unattractive deal

2.) 28 May 2013
Well said Marty. I have always maintained he is not looking to sell he is looking for an investor to bankroll himself!

We had chance with blue union to rid this club of billy liar. like them or not. it is time to rid this great club of the cancer that is kenwright. briski {Ed025's Note - your another one who thinks he speaks for everyone briski, well you dont mate!...a mega rich owner would be nice, but there are not a lot out there, so until something comes to fruition, we should be backing the man we have..

Didn't know about the Bernie one mate. But if true that's a bit of a blow. There's a man who knows how to make money. {Ed025's Note - for himself.

Martywil:

BK has had in my very firm opinion a very easy ride over the last 11yrs with DM in the managers seat and however much he loves our sacred EFC he hasn't moved this club forward.

We are and have been treading water for far too long!

His next decision will be the most important one (finding the right man for the managers post)

He may not be so lucky this time and since when in football history has a relegated manager been hailed as a footy coach supreme!

with the golden touch!

With a talent for winning league matches!

Who prioritizes the peace of mind of the clubs fans!

Making sure that points take precedence over pretty football!

Who is this guy and does he really exist??

12.) 28 May 2013
Aye, but it's a good job we didn't get Ecclestone, look where QPR are now

I have some very close friends who are premiership footballers, agents and ex players. As well as a couple in City of London who broker these types of deals.

Kenwright has already admitted to the city deal falling through.

I have absolutely no interest in making this up I have been a corporate member (1878) lounge for several years spending approx. 17k a season on my table.

Using qpr as a example of investment is plain stupid, they tried to over haul the whole team like they were playing championship manager
