I did say apparently Ed, I was doubtful myself with the alleged offer on Toure, but we’re desperate for news and any sniff of a signing is going to get us asking for answers and you have your finger on the pulse of most things so I wondered if you have any knowledge on this latest rumour.

We have been linked with every man and his dog already this window and I'm sure it will continue at pace until it shuts. On one hand the media tell us that we are skint and can't spend due to ffp, yet they then report that we're readying a 40m bid for some obscure striker. We do need to bring bodies in soon though, fingers crossed we don't leave it until the last minute to get deals done.

De Ketelaere as good on Fifa which is our main scout. think West Ham have a genuine interest so we're obliged to have our name mentioned.

Even thou it probably is rubbish, it did say sell or loan for the season which AC Milan will sanction, if there is any truth it's probably a loan at best.

With those who have left, is our wage bill currently back under control? In May we had the 10th best/ worst wage bill but with the likes of Mina leaving on £120k/ pw I’m sure that would have helped.

Gingerdan I will believe it when I see it, expressing an interest doesn’t mean we have submitted a 35 million offer, I just don’t believe it, I hope I am wrong though.
