I am hearing that Blue Bill is seriously ill. I really hope this is untrue for a number of reasons. All we can do is send our warmest and fondest blue wishes to his friends and family. He is one of us no matter what a section of our support thinks.

{Ed025's Note - totally agree degs..

I'm far from Bill's bigest fan, but I would not wish him any ill, really do hope he makes a full recovery. But, I also hope he now view it as in his, and the clubs, best interest to stand aside, and perhaps accepts an honoury role, rather than an active one. Better to be a respected elder, than someone who hung on to long.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think the timing is appropriate for any discussions about him at the moment JCW..

Bills love and passion for our club is second to none I remember him getting rid of Peter Johnson with a little help from Walter after he almost run us into the ground and I have no doubts everything he has ever done has been the best thing for everton GET WELL SOON BILL!

Again I have never been Bills biggest fan, but that's more a byproduct of the fact he's not a multi-billionaire.

I also do however fully respect he has never done anything he thought would hurt the club and has kept us in the top flight during some very long hard years.

Get well soon Mr K.

I think Bill has done an amazing job with what he has to work with especially in comparison to some of the other clubs where money men have arrived at the door and it's all turned sour!
Get well soon Bill, a true blue Evertonian! And although some may not agree I feel he should and will be looked at as an Everton Legend!

{Ed025's Note - I hop he does ST..
