who should we sign then. I'm looking at young raw talent who could progress with J Stones into an established centre half for years top come for us, my list would include one of the following. Mechele, Tah, Rudiger, Doria, Denswil, Rugani, Kongolo, Laporte, Balanta, Ginter or Zouma. Unsure about the price bracket some of them could collect particullarly the latter players on the list such as Ginter or Zouma could cost upwards of £20mill even at such a young age. Most of the players are dominant and strong centre backs at their respectful clubs which is definately a trait we want in a centere half coming into the premier league. Think we are covered this season as long as Stones comes back strong after his injury and Alcarez seems to have stabalised himself to a more sound centre back, I would still worry with him playing against a side in the top 6 though.

Distin has not gone he has had a bust up with a coach and has been disciplined internally. He was at the last home game and looked very happy when I was there. You will see him playing again very soon maybe tomorrow.

What do you mean we've got funds? We're still £25 million in debt. That doesn't mean that we should - or could - go a further £10 million in debt to fund the transfer you're suggesting. What that does mean imho is that the current level of debt is manageable - and will be reduced further - without us being under pressure to transfer out our better players when the 'wealthier' clubs start sniffing around. No doubt another chunk of the next lot of TV money will be used to help us with incoming transfers next Summer. Not least to replace some of our over-30s that will be moved on and for whom we won't have ready replacements that have come through our U-21 and U-18 ranks. We also need to keep our wage to income/turnover ratio at sustainable levels. I know all this financial stuff doesn't matter to many fans, but I'm convinced that it's vital that the club remains sound and prudently managed.

Here we go, mystic degsy back again, what do you mean you told us? Is that it? Are we supposed to be satisfied with that piece of information? Is there proof we have funds? Or has alcaraz got 10m of compensation for us to spend, I don't get all this 'i told you this' and 'i told you that', if he doesn't buy a 10m centre back will you shhh a little bit or will you then come on and say 'i told you he wouldnt', are you itk degsy or pshycic, which you can't be because pshycics don't exist, I will tell you what, who will we sign next summer? Where will we finish? Will burnley ever win a game? what's the lotto results for the next ten years? Where is wall-e hiding? Come on if its so easy, look into your crystal ball
