Granit Xhaka who we have been linked with in the past scored a cracking goal for Switzerland against France. As a backup cm he wouldn't be too expensive and has potential. Eds do you know if there is any interest in him from everton now?

Pierre Michel Lassoga of hamburg, 20, supposedly wants a premier league move. Any interest from everton as he seems to fit the bill perfectly to replace Lukaku if we can't secure him next season

Papers today linking us with Samuel eto'o who to clarify is 33 not 40. Though he does not immediately fit our playing style as a striker, he seems a better version of Naismith who I like and depending on wages could be feesible. Somehow though I doubt his will happen.

1.) Better than Naismith? I wouldn't say so and if he is 33 (but according to Mourinho it could be closer to 43) he is too old. What would his wages be? I hope this is another example of lazy journalism because there is better out there we can get.
2.) Could be another ibrahim Bakayoko incident, there were rumours he was more like 35 than mid 20's when he signed.
Tbh I'd love to give him another chance. He looks like he could terrorize defenders!

Martinez was commentator for espns coverage of Argentina Bosnia and he spent the whole game praising this kid, and he played really well. Shut down Messi for 99% of the game.
