Just fishing for opinions here. We all like someone with a connection to the club so what about Peter Reid?

Or Howard Kendal has come out in favour of big Dunc- he'd certainly take no s**t off anyone.

1.) Peter Reid is like yesterday's man. I don't care that he once played for us there is no sentiment in football, and personally myself I don't want any ex evertonions as our next manager.

According to tv sport Moyes is off to United and as a blue I wish him all the best however I think he is a fool to jump right in after Ferguson. The mancs ( cockneys ) are not convinced with him and if things don't go right from the very first whistle He's going to be under pressure He's never felt at Everton. I think it would be wiser for him to let someone have a go and take the reins after them.

I admit He's done a good job for us but no trophies and no wins at old trafford, anfield, chelsea, and highbury/emirates in 44 attempts?

I guess all I'm trying to say is that he is not irreplacable {Ed025's Note - no one is pete...players or managers mate..

Absolutely loved Zola as a player, total gentleman, pure class (compare him to the rat accross the park) but would he be a safe enough bet to be our new manager?

I'd love to think so
