I was undecided when RM was appointed Manager. for same reasons as most. wigans style of football and relegation. However, the events of last year saw me swept along and increased the expectation for this year. However, just like the everton team all my confidence in everton and the manager has slowly but surely trickled away. The problem is clearly RMs uncompromising approach, tactical niaivity . infuriating. Firstly the tactic of playing your favoured 11 players rather than your strongest 11 man team isnot correct. if certain players need a rest or are under performing (Barry, Ross, McGeady and IMO coleman) then you should be rested. Last night Berkley had been switched from wing (where he does not belong) to centre and naismith to rightwing. the same position DM played him in resulting in him being slated. Naismiths role for me is either along side or just behind Romelu. For me Berkley needed to be rested and Naismith pick up a central role where he has been great this season. you don't move him to acommodate a player who is out of form?? Secondly for months now Romelu has looked isolated. From the off Rom was surrounded by a triangle of two CBs behind him and a CM infront of him. everton were not being bossed in midfield and clearly the team was crying out for 4 4 2 which ould have changed WBAs tactics and limted the marshalling of Rom - after 15 minutes this was clear. RM addressed this after 79 minutes? Finally although probably the best performance came from Besic someone has to tell the guy when running toward the opposition half/goal, with an opposition player behind you, DO NOT suddenly turn towards your own goal into that opposing player. Finally offside from a short corner, consitently failing to clear front post when crossing a ball and continuously trying to tip-tap your way into the opposing box clearly demonstrates that RMs current and only way of playing is not good enough. Its time for him to prove how capable he really is.

Regarding kev. I honestly think he wants out. just a matter of time. Regarding McGrath I was touting him to have a great season this year.his ball control can be sublime at times. but here is the problem. he consistently makes the wrong decisions and consistently does too much, why beat a man once when you can try it three times. I honestly think he could have a future IF he kept it simple. but he's failed to do it all season. and given that he does not really offer much in the way of defensive duties. I think it's time he was shipped out

Ed025, I posted earlier this week. and pointed out a lot of the same stuff that a lot of the posters on here are talking about. Isaid I did nt want Bobby sacked, just him to be more flexible blah, blah, blah. After reading the above. unless we see a drastic change today. he has to go. if this quotes are for real ( I don't read any interviews anymore. I was bored of the same boring. team spirit and character trash talk. months ago. none of it ever made sense). you ve converted me to a Martinez out member

{Ed025's Note - i dont want to convert anyone jclaff, its just that i fear for our future mate...if bobby could turn it around no one would be happier than me to give him another chance, but we will have a clearer picture in a week or so i imagine..

I hear you ed. however, I also think that sacking now will not help. I wasn't all gooey eyed when Bobby signed. cautious in fact, but unfortunately we need to suck it up, keep making our feelings known at the game and hopefully change things around. big hope BUT it's all we have unfortunately

{Ed025's Note - i respect your opinion mate, even though i dont agree..

Not in to bashing everton players or manager. but I think both sides of everton fans need to be pragmatic and realistic. For the haters. who do they want Bobby replaced with? All of the names banded about. have no credibility in the prem league and remain as much of a risk as Bobby represents now. However, at the same time, I read a post above that says (para phrasing) our demise is due to the players. Well in part yes. they kick the ball. However, I think Bobby is mainly to blame. Unlike many managers, he does not alter tactics to suite opponent, he plays players out of position simply to accommodate them ( ross on left wing), he maintains 1 lone striker, he maintains tip tap football at all costs, he maintains same formation, he makes substitutes far too late in games. I don't want him to be sacked, just want him to adapt and make decisions that those of us who go the game can see need to be made. and do it early in game rather than 15 mins to go. I also want him to give garbutt, browning, mcaleny. maybe even Henen a run. Come on Bobby stop being so predictable and stubborn

{Ed025's Note - if he was willing to adapt jclaff we would not be in this mess now..
