Not really a rumour more a calling to everyone going the game on Sunday. Goodison needs to be at max volume on Sunday, give the boys in blue as big a lift as we can and make it as difficult as we can for arsenal. A win on Sunday would be a massive result possibly the biggest of the season and would surely give a statement of intent for the future of our great club. COYB!

1.) Too right LM. Goodison will be rocking for this one. The noise needs to be loud and incessant to silence these nomarks who've been egged on by our noisy neighbours this week on their site. It's only a shame that the club didn't play tit for tat over the ticket allocation for them in the Bullens. But hey, no matter. Let's show them how the Old Lady can literally rock, the way it did against Bayern Munich in that classic 1985 game when Howard and Colin opened the dressing room windows at half time telling the team to listen how much it meant to the fans. I was lucky to be there that night and the performance merited the team talk with a comprehensive victory. Having said that 1-0 will do me! COYB.

2.) Spot on LM. all EFC fans have a job to do on sunday. just hope everyone is up for it.

COYMBB

3.) Davey,

You have to go back to 1985 to remember the last time Goodison rocked?

Just as well you have a big team coming their sunday than, heh mate?

4.) Dagenham Hammer you again miss the point. Back in 1985 Goodison held the best part of 53000 - something the old Highbury never did. And yes, the Old Lady literally rocked as Everton came back to beat the Germans in the second half. Not that you would understand that residing as you do at present in your library of a ground, where away supporters are prevented from attending because Arsenal wish to sell these tickets (against FA instructions) to their own supporters in a desperate bid to raise some sound vocally.

5.) Davey my dear friend,

You are really bitter about the Emirates game aren't you?

Everton were not given the full allocation for health and safety reason's.

I was there, as was my son and many fathers with their sons too.
Why would I want my son to be hurt/maimed/blinded by Everton supporters (or probably just one stupid supporter who spoils things for everybody else), who thinks it's funny to throw blue-bombs on the pitch?

Why? because they think it creates an atmosphere. NO, they are banned and rightly so.

Your allocation was cut, blame the smoke-bomb throwers and not the club you are playing at on the day.

Peace out you handsome devil.

{Ed025's Note - i think the safety thing was a load of old pony DG, i totally agree about flares being dangerous mate, and stupid things to take to any game, but security checks would eliminate that surely!...

6.) I know Ed025.

Pardon the expression, but it was just a smokescreen used by Arsenal to give more tickets to the Gooners (totally unfair, I must agree, and against FA rules).

But don't tell Davey that, keep it under your hat please, lol.

{Ed025's Note - mums the word DG.. :)

Surely a reduction in ticket allowance had nothing to do with health and safety, as dagenham has said it takes 1 person to take a flare into the stands and light it, irrespective of whether u have 3000 or 9000 supporters in the away end! It was merely so that we couldn't send more supporters down there to cheer our team on and even the playing field against home advantage.
