Ive said it before and ilk say it again. Paul Lambert will do for me. Not spent much and what he did spend was on Benteke and he ain't bad. Goes for young players and gives them a run of games. Plays good football, very experienced. If he stays at villa in a couple of years they will be challenging the top 4/5 as those youngsters are class. Our youngsters are there already they just need a chance. Imo he's our man akthough would he leave when he's building a future at villa. A ling shot for me would be reidy. Passionate about everton. Knows what he's doing and did a job at sunderland and city. Him and big dunc would b worth a go or possibly alan irvine. He knows our grest club like the back of his hand. Has a good relationship with bk and similar to moyes. can't see it being lennon the pain of walter smith from scotland is still not forgotten. Whatever happens i'm sure bk will make the right choice. Whoever it is will get my backing. Good luck davey. You have turned our great club around and for that you have my blessing. I hope you do well at utd and look forward to seeing you at Goodison. Onwards and upwards now blues

1.) I don't think lambert leaves villa, but I would not be displeased if he did so to join everton. my only problem is that he is a manager who has to build his squad the way he wants to. while this can be good for the future and would likely mean the promotion of several of our talented youngsters it would likely mean us giving up on the excellent position in terms of talent that moyes has left us in. think we need someone who can immediately just give us that little bit extra (though that is very difficult to find) and then see how it goes from there. if the squad continues to age and we don't see results then we can move on to a rebuilding phase with a manager in the mold of PL

Thank you Mr. Moyes for giving us blues the hope and excitement over the years. We certainly didn't have it for a long time before you came. Moyes may have said he will go at the end of the season but utd want to make a quick announcement and moyes can't make them wait as he wouldn't be given the chance again. I hope he does well and we give him and neville a good send off at the weekend as the have been two fantastic servants for everton. I hope he doesn't come in for jags and baines but who could blame him. Looking at the positives it might give us a freshness and jelavic might go back to being a poacher again I just hope the players don't follow suit and leave as they all seemed to like moyes but only time will tell. With regards to a manager i'm not cinvinced by martinez. Yes we want good football but if thays not working you need a plan b maybe put balls into the box sometimes. Martinez doesn't do that. He only has one style and no plan b. Not seen much of the porto manager but he's won the league there albeit not the strongest league there's inly 3 decent teams in it. Its a tough choice. Not zola he's only done a decent job as he has half of udinese there. We need sumone similar to moyes who can work on a small budget but gives youth a chance. I think lambert may be worth a punt he plays the youth and villa will be decent if they keep there rop players. Alan Irvine mite be worth a shout and if we want a blue how about reidy wiv stubbsy no2? Anyway good luck Mr. Moyes it was a pleasure to have you at Goodison and you are welcome back anytime. danny
