Just noticed Tom Davies is named as a substitute- I thought he’d been taken out of the declared squad due to his injury so was ineligible to play for rest of season?

Seems strange that he’s on bench - would be typical Everton to get a result today but then get penalised for fielding an ineligible player!

Any of the Ed’s able to shed some light on his inclusion in squad?

{Ed001's Note - I don't know anything of him not being in the squad for the season. As far as I know he was part of the squad when it was submitted.}

Was originally left out due to his injury but when Gbamin left on loan was registered in the squad slot vacated.

I think he was re-registered when Gbamin went to Russia.
