That should be the very last time that we see Rondon in an Everton shirt on grass. He is useless. Yes he does try so this isn't personal or even directly aimed at him but instead aimed at Benitez. Why does he insist on playing him? We have young attackers in Dobbin and Simms that have been denied an opportunity to play for what? For Rondon? Tosun, *high pitched* even Tosun did more in way way less time. Rafa seems stuck in his, he either doesn't see certain things don't work or refuses to accept them in hope that they will change. It is evident that he is nowhere near good enough.

The formation. Jesus Christ please don't use that formation ever again. It doesn't work. The players clearly are not comfortable using it. We are so defensively frail when using it and get dominated in midfield by midfielders who are not of the highest quality. It's been disgraceful to be honest.

Hopefully we will never see Rondon or that formation again.

I have to agree totally. Rondon is a complete liability, just looks completely out of his depth on a football field. As you say, not his fault, clearly RB playing a player he brought to the club when he has young talent to pick from.
Not sure we were trying to play 5 at the back, or we just got too overpowered in the first 15 minutes we were unable to shape the team correctly. Either way it was a disaster, complete car crash.
I was one of those who accepted RB as being the best out there at a time that CA dumped on us and still believe he needs to see the season out as a minimum. Changing again, and for who, would definitely be a mistake while we’re in a relegation fight. COYB.

If he keeps insisting on on playing these tactics and choosing players like Rondon, he is better nowhere near the club. Not even serving the pies, he would be offering stale out of date pies instead of the new ones that have just came in.
