Just my thoughts on our current situation. I'm extremly disappoint with CA. He gladly and rightly slaughtered the ESL and then decides to join one of then. Its extremely hypocritical I think. I'm sure he felt he had unfinished business at RM but honestly where does that leave us. I'm pig sick of hearing the same old drivel from every manager that comes on about the project, the project. We find ourselves looking for a new manager again who'll want his own players. He'll have to assess the playing squad and who knows maybe very little bought this Summer. Its seems like a never-ending vicious circle. Who do we bring in? anyones guess. I'd love someone to work with younger players. WE've tried the big name manager to attract players, we've had the fancy managers who play attractive football, god help us even Big Sam and they've all fell by the wayside. At this stage me personally I'd like to see someone like Eric ten Hag who's used to working with up and coming younsters maybe be on the same page as Marcel Brands. I'm not saying all our players are poor far from it, but we need someone who can turn a lot of donkeys into racehorses at this stage. that's my lot.

The thing with that appointment and I wouldn’t knock it if it happened. Is they can use that business model because the level of opposition in the Dutch league is far smaller than the premier league. I don’t think Everton can gamble in that way to play up and coming kids. who knows where we would be after 18 games. Big risk. If he was to be appointed I’d hope he would have sufficient funds to go out an bring in 4/ 5 players to change our team into a winning thinking one. I have no problems with the dogs of war and right now think that’s what we should go for. We haven’t got a squad of flair and brilliance. Get someone in who will make them cover every bit of grass and fight for club.

Playing lovely footy is great and all that, but give me players who fight for every ball close everything down and battle. I’m taking that at the stage we are in. All day.
