Pickford-8: Did his job well, never felt in danger with him, hopefully he can carry this into a run of form

Coleman-8: Not his biggest fan anymore, don't think he's good enough but he's turned into a really solid defender and after his first interaction with Son he didn't let him get into the game

Mina-7: Didn't have that much to do but did it well, Kane didn't get a sniff

Keane-7: Same as Mina

Digne-8: That cross was delicious, defensively solid and always available

Allan-9: You know someone has done a really good job when you can't remember them doing anything wrong, always there for people, always kept us moving along, didn't slow things down and, despite previous worries that he might struggle with the pace, nope, he was quality

Doucoure-8: Will hopefully be able to get forward more in other games because he is a box to box player but did his role of defensive midfielder well today, so much energy and never put a foot wrong

Gomes-7: Came off for Sigurdsson (oh, we'll get to him) but looked rejuvenated next to players who can actually defend and have experience, is another we will hopefully see charging forward in other games

James-9: Gave Davies nightmares despite never going past him, that's how good his control of the game was when he got the ball, some great passes, kept us going at pace, his vision and control is ridiculous, can't wait to see more of him

Richarlison-8: A poor miss but dominated the rest of the game, had Doherty doing the stanky leg at points, never hides in games, always makes himself available and he works so hard, that's what separates him and a handful of other great forwards in the league, his work rate

DCL-8: Couple of half chances but buried his header and he's improving all the time, no complaints

Sigurdsson-6: Didn't really do anything but continuously give the ball back to Spurs when we were trying to defend

Kean-6: Looked lively but obviously couldn't do much

Davies-6: Hello Tom

Great performance today, as usual no one will mention it and it will be all about how "bad" Spurs were, but we dominated them, dominated the midfield, outworked them, outplayed them and thoroughly deserved the win

Well done Carlo and his team, fingers crossed for the rest of the season.

{Ed025's Note - nice to see you swan and your ratings mate..

I'm not going to get over excited over one glass of champagne, but at least it is great to see an Everton team competing for 90 minutes. I can't remember the last time. Can anyone?

Good to hear from you again Swan. I think that you are giving Sigurdsson too much credit. He was doing his normal keeping as well away from the ball as possible and when he actually did receive the ball he passed backwards and then did his normal pointing for the ball to be passed to someone else. He is stealing a living and is a liability and I hope that we get rid if we can.
